I’ve been using Xtend since 2004 and have tried many flavors, and I’m guessing even if you’ve used the product you’re wanting to know which one to order. I’ll give you a quick guide as I swear by this product and genuinely want Scivation to do well.
God Tier – Watermelon
Watermelon was the first flavor I’ve tried and it’s simply the best. After I try a flavor I inevitably end up back with Watermelon. It’s refreshing and tastes great. I’ve ordered it maybe 20+ times.
Best of the Rest Tier – Blue Raspberry, Pink Lemonade
Both flavors might be a bit tart at first but it doesn’t take long to fall in love with either option. I’ve ordered Blue Raspberry the second most, and although it’s a newer flavor it’s easily my second favorite.
Good But Not Great Tier – Blood Orange, Lemon Lime, Strawberry Kiwi, Green Apple, Grape, Fruit Punch, Orange
All of these options are as advertised. They’re fun selections to try, but honestly I’ve only ordered each one once. If I have to give the nod to the best it’s probably Fruit Punch. I would recommend ordering the 30 serving for each to see which one if your favorite
Never Again Tier – Freedom Ice
I was so excited to try this, rocket pops are delicious so naturally Freedom Ice would be too. In reality you can only taste the lemon, it’s very tart and the bottle was a chore to get through.

B/c i know this as a fact, i NEVER use full scoop of any pre-flavored drink. I try 2 tsp first, then add plain to test taste. I buy unflavored protein powders & unflavored bcaas. The blood orange tasted as expected, orangey. Next time I’m going to use less amino acids, got a bit of headache the 1st time i used this brand. But for some bcaas can cause headaches & other minor symptoms. Mine was just mild headache. For me, the bcaas is used to reduce soreness. I havnt used bcaas long enough to notice any size difference in muscle, but that’s not why i bought bcaas to begin w/. And hell, I’m NOT planning to drink this stuff like a normal beverage, even though it’s suggested. I get enough amino acids from my protein powders & foods. I’m not a wgtlifter. I do wgts to reduce bone & muscle mass & to balance my jogging.

Indefinitely noticed my muscle soreness decreased after workouts since I started using this. The taste really ain’t too bad either.
I did stop using it though because I have very muscular calves already and I actually noticed them getting a little bigger, which I didn’t want (I’m a female so it’s a little manly looking). However that’s kind of one of the purposes for this so I guess that’s more proof that it works!

I would give this 5*’s based on taste alone, but I can’t because I do not understand why a food for health would include artificial colors. It is banned in Europe. It does NOT affect the taste. It is poison. I realize that you have an alternative with no dyes but it doesn’t taste as good. PLEASE REMOVE THE DYES from all your products. No one needs to see purple or pink or blue. Or add some beetroot power or something. Red dye 40, etc doesn’t belong in our bodies. I am not even complaining about the sucralose, just the dye. Thank you.

Wow!!! First time user and I’m impressed!! The shipping was fast with PRIME, the packaging was nice and neat and no spill around the seal. The powder blended so effortlessly with the water. No crummy taste! It taste delicious, I read other reviews about the great taste but had to see for myself. It’s not one of those supplements you have to chug because of the horrid taste. I can sip and enjoy. I am drinking it now, I mixed it with my l-carnitine and I will update the review on whether or not I had any energy boost or decrease in soreness. Will definitely purchase again!

Mixes well, tastes great, gives a push using it bfor and during a workout. I just had to give it up because it has sucralose in its ingredients which I have read is not good for you and it messes with your endocrine system and possibly hormones and spikes insulin even tho it isn’t real sugar. It has heavy red, blue and other dyes in it as well. I eat very clean……just didn’t work for me.

Do you want super powers? If you said yes, then this is the stuff for you. Fill a shake cup with water and one small scoop of this stuff, then get to working out. The weight machine didn’t have enough weight on it , so my friend lifted the entire macing and weights. They call him grape ape. Anyhow, this stuff tastes great and does seem to give some extra vigor in your workout,so give it a try to see if it suits you as well.

Tastes great! I would use a little more water then recommended to dilute it. Taste is addicting.
For the negative: So the product is amazing but the packaging sucks. First order came in and powder was spilling out of the seal. Called and they replaced it and had it to me the next day. Which was amazing of amazon. I am assuming that the first one that came in broken is the seal under the cap popped or opened in transit. Wish they would change it up to a better seal so when we get the product its not all over the seal on the cap outside the bottle or the packaging. They need to find a better design because I can see this being a hit or miss in future orders.
Back to the positive!
Mixes well, I throw it in some water and ice and shake. I give it a few mins to really dissolve after mixing it. I feel like I have energy after a workout and muscles are not as sore. Mango flavor is legit good. Especially during summer time right now lol. I will purchase again and pray it does not come in outside of the container. It is that good to chance it every time lol! I wish they made taster packs so we can try different flavors so see what is best for us. Anyways wishful thinking.

DISCLAIMER: My Personal Preferences Below. Actual Results May Vary
5/5 – BEST OVERALL FLAVOR: Italian Blood Orange
This flavor tastes so similar to actual fresh squeezed oranges it’s pretty mind blowing. And I definitely notice the richness they imitate in blood oranges, so it’s not at all like a standard Tropicana OJ – it’s better! They really nailed it in the flavor department for this one. My favorite every time
4/5 – DELICIOUS – WON’T GET BORED: Tropic Thunder, Watermelon Explosion, Knockout Fruit Punch, Pink Lemonade
I could drink these flavors everyday. Tropic Thunder tastes EXACTLY like Pineapple – so if you love that, you’ll love this (I do). Watermelon Explosion is our childhood favorite Jolly Rancher. Knockout Fruit Punch – Hawaiian Punch without the sugar!. Pink Lemonade – As advertised
4.5/5 – TASTY & ACCURATE FLAVOR: Glacial Grape, Freedom Ice
These flavors still taste pretty good, I rotate in and out of them. What’s more impressive is how close they taste to their actual listed flavor. Glacial Grape is exactly like the purple frost Gatorade and Freedom Ice, I kid you not, is literally the same flavor as the three colored Bombscicles we had as kids. It has the lemon, blue raspberry and cherry flavor all in one – and it works really well in my opinion
3/5 – JUST AVERAGE: Mango Madness, Strawberry Mango, Miami Ice, Lemon Lime
The mango flavors taste a little too artificial for me – it’s hard to recreate the actual mango taste in any product. I couldn’t see myself drinking these all the time. Miami Ice is pretty good, it’s like a strawberry coconut flavor (i dint notice much pineapple), but kind of average. Lemon Lime is pretty standard lemon lime (not lemonade though).
2/5 – NOT A FAN: Strawberry Kiwi Splash, Smash Apple, Margarita, Black Cherry
Black Cherry smells like a Cherry starburst when u mix it, but tastes diluted somehow. It’s not as “juicy” as the other flavors. Smash Apple is also chemically tasting. Margarita, i have to say is pretty spot on in terms of flavor (it’s a little salty and lime-forward, like the cocktail). Took awhile to get through the tub though because I wasn’t looking forward to drinking it after the first time. Strawberry Kiwi is not as good as the Strawberry Kiwi Snapples they used to make back in the day lol. It’s neither Strawberry and it’s neither Kiwi. I didn’t find the flavor very pleasant and I haven’t finished the tub from 6 months ago.
1/5 – GROSS: Rainbow Sherbet
I was excited at the idea of this one, but the execution just doesn’t work here for me. Maybe it’s because a creamy ice cream flavor doesn’t go well in a sports drink. Strange aftertaste
NOT TESTED: Blue Raspberry
I generally don’t go for the “blue razz” flavor drinks because I don’t love raspberry anything. Iv’e heard good things about this one though, and some people say it’s their favorite!
Overall, I love Xtend. I think there’s a flavor out there for pretty much everyone. Helps me stay hydrated – BCAAs probably better when you’re training fasted. I drink it intra workout and look forward to having it every day when I lift. Personally, i think the recommended 10-14oz of water is too little. I use the big 24 oz shaker bottles w/ one scoop and it’s perfect. Super refreshing. Highly Recommend!!!

From this company electrolyte mix I have tried mango, raspberry, grape and pineapple.
Blue Raspberry is exactly sweet and very overwhelming. I honestly was hoping for blue raspberry to taste like blue raspberry slushy from 7/11. So I do like sweet.
Mango was good but sometimes a bit over powering.
Grape they were trying to go for a real grape while what I expect out of a purple drink is fake grape flavor.
Pineapple has been amazing the flavor has been more subdued while still delicious.
They are a bit expensive at $27ish for 30 servings while other companies are selling for $30ish for 90 servings.
They are good but I feel like it might be more worth it to find a different company where it’s closer to 30¢ a serving then a buck a serving. It might be hard to find another pineapple thought.
Also is the super thick plastic necessary for the containers? Is like half the $27 spent on packaging? Could it be packaged in something more eco friendly?

Mango and Blood Orange are fantastic flavors. Very palatable on their own or mixed with other stuff. Even chocolate protein powder (Imagine chocolate orange!). I notice a little difference when exercising. Before using this stuff I’d workout for an hour and then do cardio for an hour. Now I workout for at least 2.5 hours and later that day do multiple forms of cardio probably for an hour and a half. Recovering is fast too. (x-national level athlete retired from 3 injuries)

It’s my first time ever purchasing and trying BCAAs and I have to say this stuff is DELICIOUS. My friend recommended it to me and I’ve also seen a bunch of fitness bloggers and influencers talking about this product. I feel that it actually gives me more energy when I take it during my workout and after as recommended, and I’m excited to see the results. Also, before I started taking this I would always feel EXTREMELY sore after my workouts (cardio + strength training) even after taking the time to stretch before. However now that I’m taking this, within a matter of minutes the soreness/muscle tension disappears. I am absolutely blown away. Would definitely recommend!

I’ve tried a few flavors of this brand of BCAA’s at this point: pineapple, fruit punch, blue raspberry, and strawberry mango. I typically pick my flavor based on which one is cheapest because for some reason there can be a pretty drastic difference in price between flavors. By far my favorite has been the strawberry mango, but the pineapple was also really tasty. Fruit punch is ok and the blue raspberry has been my least favorite. Overall they’re all pretty tasty but I find that if you try the water/mixture proportion they recommend it doesn’t dissolve well. I usually use 1 scoop in 24oz of water. It’s nice to have as my beverage during a workout, especially if I go to the gym fasted.
With all of that said, as with any supplement, it’s completely unnecessary. You get BCAAs through your foods as long as you’re eating a balanced diet, so you don’t really need a supplement. Once I finish off the supply that I have, I likely will not purchase more.

I’ve purchased multiple containers of this BCAAA. Always love the taste and how much it’s helped me during and after workouts. Highly recommend it….until the last shipment. I was running low so I re-ordered a shipment, and the powder inside the new container was a totally different color and the taste is much different. It now taste chalky and has an terrible aftertaste. Yes, it’s the same flavor, brand, etc., just a very different (not in a good way) product than it used to be. If the new flavor is their latest and greatest, buy something else.
