I have been using the regular extend BCAAs and loved it. Was intrigued by this product to see what it can do. Not only was it very effective but the taste was still amazing as well. I ordered another flavor of this product and will keep it firmly in the mix at my house. I strongly recommend this product not only for the flavor but the performance!

Best quality aminoes, I will not buy or use another type. I love how these are caffeine free but still have capsasin…This brand uses the best ingredients I highly reccomend

This thing works a little too well. At least for me. I had to stop using it after a container and a half. Taking this product, plus clean eating, I drop 10 pounds in two months. And even tho I didn’t lose any of my strength, I didn’t need to lose that much. I just wanted to drop a few pounds of body fat. So if you’re in a fairly good shape, I wouldn’t really recommend it.

Great flavor and always a fan of the Xtend BCAAs. Not sure I see any difference between the ripped version vs the normal one though

I just ran out of my first purchase of this blueberry lemonade flavor. First, I’d like to say I’ve tried many different BCAA’s. This is the only formula I FELT working. I recently quite caffeine so finding ways to feel energized and give me anything at all at the gym has been really tough. I drink a whole scoop during my workout and another one somewhere in the day. I feel so much better having drank it. When I don’t I honestly have so little energy or motivation. This is my go-to BCAA from here on out! Shout out to Whitney Simmons for recommending it! Next I’m trying the Blood Orange!

I’m not sure about the cutting claim – I’m going to re-order and give it another month, however, these are easily the best tasting BCAAs that I’ve ever had. Across brands and flavors, most are sickly sweet and make me feel nauseous halfway through a serving. The Blueberry Lemonade isn’t too sweet, or too sour, and isn’t overpowering. I haven’t felt nauseous, even on an empty stomach. There is a sharp flavor burn if you catch a bit that isn’t mixed well, but that is rare and is usually the result of a little powder on the rim – a few shakes in a blender bottle and it goes down smooth, no chalky clumps.
Hoping to see more of the cutting effects this next month, as much as I love the flavor I can’t justify the price tag without it.

As a BCAA, it does what it needs to do: kept my energy levels up during workouts and helped a lot with recovery.
As far as taste goes though, it wasn’t my favorite. I’m not a fan of very sweet drinks, and this one (strawberry kiwi) was just way too much for me, even with half scoops. It also has a very artificial taste to it that’s a little off-putting. If you like soda, really sweet juices/drinks, etc. this might be a good bet for you but otherwise, stay away.

I’m not sure what it is about this RIPPED formula, but the one I have (blueberry lemonade) does not mix completely with water. When you drink it you can kind of feel the little grains of powder that haven’t mixed in, and if you let the water sit it will create a film on top of the water. the pink lemonade from the original formula is 10x better.

I buy extend in the store typically, glad to see it on Amazon now.
This product is excellent. It mixes well, has no caffeine (they do make a product with caffeine, but most are non-stimulant). Taste is good. I have not used this particular Xtend product long enough to know if it makes a difference, but my general experience with XTEND is positive.
Subjectively, I find that workouts and recovery are better with XTEND. I have no scientific way to prove this, but I can feel the difference when I don’t use it.

Super unpleasant and alarming chemical burn on the lips and tongue. Can you imagine what this is probably doing to your internals? Eww. Never again. Almost tempted to try and return it since it was so, so bad and likely dangerous.
1/20/2020 EDIT: changed to 4 stars from my initial 1 star rating. Simply don’t let the formula settle and always mix it up beforehand and you will not experience the burning. Decent tasting and after my workouts it does seem to do its job.

Love this brand but I’m going back to their regular (not ripped) formula. I haven’t noticed a difference “ripped” wise, and I’ve used up two tubs. I prefer the flavors of the original (ripped has that spice aftertaste and caffeine feel). The BCAAs are always great in this brand so I’ll just go back to the other one!

Watermelon lime tastes great! I have used up the canister and I noticed no improvement from the regular BCAAs from this brand. I workout 5-6 times a week with cardio and strength training, and I actually have gained 4 pounds while drinking this. Will likely not purchase again

Great taste, but doesn’t mix nearly as well as regular Xtend.
Also, it seems to get spicier over time if you don’t drink it all right away. I made the mistake of mixing in a few scoops with a big jug of water, then drank about half of it that day during/after my training session and some afterward. Had maybe 1/3 of the jug left by the next morning and thought I would finish it off with breakfast. Immediately tasted the difference – it had some serious kick in it. Careful if you are sensitive to that kind of thing.

It is the first time I try any BCAA supplement or any supplement at all. I like the taste because it’s not too strong or sweet, in my opinion; and the Watermelon Lime is a very agreeable flavor, though, sometimes I can feel a little of the pepper taste in the back of my pallet. As of the results, I still believe it’s too early for me to tell, but so far I believe it’s helped me recover better from my Crossfit wods and it does make me feel hydrated. I started drinking it before and during my trainings, but quickly I changed to after trainings because it made me feel full and not very comfortable from the stomach (there is nothing wrong with the product; it’s just me). Overall, I am satisfied. I will continue to try it and see what happen in a few months.

*Update to my review*: After 2 months of using this product, I’m reverting back to the Original. I didn’t find any difference using this as an active petite female who already has a clean diet. Probably not worth the price point when the Original is just as tasty and effective. I haven’t gone through the entire Ripped jar yet since I always divert back to my Original before most WODs.
Reviews are correct that you should shake your water bottle beforehand if you have this mixed in. You’ll see some very very small powder clunks on top, but it’s so small that a little shake breaks it up.
Watermelon lime is an OK flavor. I wish there was an orange/tangerine one like the Original.
Last year, I started using Scivation Xtend *Original* for my BCAAs and see what level it would take me during my workouts and recovery. I bought this Ripped version when the price dropped a bit just to check it out. I don’t notice a difference in energy level or recovery (in comparison to what the Original already gives me during and after a workout). I’m a fit female with a low body fat % already who eats clean compared to the average woman, so maybe there’s not too much of a difference to notice. I can’t really knock off that many stars for this product as it does make a WOD feel great. Just not sure it’s worth the extra price over the original. (I will update my review in a couple more months if I notice a larger difference).
