When it comes to vegan protein it’s always tricky because some have too many carbohydrates or the texture isnt pleasant.
This one has a great texture, great taste (I got chocolate mocha), and the profile protein X carbs is great too!
I have tried many on the market and this is now my favorite one. That’s why I’m leaving a review here.
I’m a professional bodybuilder who just made the switch to vegan and I’m happy to find products like this.

This stuff is great. As one who is very sensitive to dairy products, traditional whey protein powder was simply not an option. I spent some time researching the best alternatives and this is what came up. I have not been disappointed. It’s delicious (the chocolate moca) and I feel fantastic when I take it. Usually I take two cups a day (morning/evening). My energy is improved, focus is better and it has even upped my libido. Been taking it almost everyday for a year now. Give it a try. Even if you don’t work out, it makes for a great dietary supplement. 5/5 stars.

I bought this after reading reviews that it was the first plant-based protein that didn’t taste like chalk. I know I shouldn’t have high expectations for a smooth plant-based protein powder, but it was slightly underwhelming. It’s just really hard to do, I guess.
It still tastes like chalk, but kind of tasty chalk. However, I haven’t tried using more than half of a scoop at a time paired with a half scoop of normal whey protein powder, because the flavor and consistency would be too overwhelming.
Overall, I’m not picky and am still going to finish it. The flavor is good enough, and the macros are pretty good. I just can’t imagine drinking it as is without blending at least half a banana or some strawberries with it.

I have almost finished this product and I’m so glad it’s finally over. I don’t know why people are saying it tastes good because it really doesn’t (I have the vanilla flavor). It’s also so gritty/chalky it’s unpleasant to drink. I did find ways around that because I didn’t feel like going through the trouble to return it:
1. I don’t use a full scoop, I only use 2 tbsp per 8oz of fluid. This helps it to dissolve better and reduces grittiness.
2. There’s a reason why the peanut butter powder is frequently sold with this item. I ended up picking some up at the store and 1 tbsp added in helps with the taste.
This isn’t a product I’d be excited to purchase again but it’s low cost and can work if you’re desperate. If you can afford it just buy a more pleasant protein powder.

So far so good with this protein powder. It tastes like a protein powder is expected to taste, but I would rate it as one of the better powders I’ve tried (among around 15 different brands/varieties). The gut enzyme blend must be effective in this formula because I haven’t had any stomach upsetness or gas while drinking this in the morning time post-workout, so I’m extremely pleased with that aspect.
All in all, I would definitely recommend this as a vegan protein powder alternative to the popular non-vegan styles and brands. It’s definitely one of the better-flavored powders I’ve tried and the powder definitely gets the job done. At a fairly reasonable price, this protein powder should top anybody’s list.
Here’s hoping they keep the formula the same throughout their product line, instead of changing things up like other companies have in the past where they end up ruining what once was a good product (Garden of Life RAW, et al).

FINALLY the perfect vegan protein powder. I avoid dairy based ones since they give me indigestion and was searching for a product comparable with the typical ON Whey 100% Gold Standard. This is it ladies and gents. Low in carbs, a competitive amino acid profile, and 24g per scoop! Most vegan proteins require two scoops to beat Whey. This matches it perfectly and gives me no stomach troubles. Plus it tastes great but might be a bit too chalky for some.

it is like the powder doesn’t fully dissolve, leaving a somewhat chalky texture. I bought the vanilla, which does taste good (not great but good/acceptable). The first week or so I mixed just this with unflavored almond milk. After about a week I started putting strawberries and/or pineapple into it as well. I did get used to the texture/chalkiness of this powder after 5 or 6 days. It is an okay flavor. I’m not sure yet if I will try the chocolate next time or try another brand, or go ahead and re-do this brand/flavor (I love vanilla flavored beverages by the way). I’ve been using it for 2 or 3 weeks at this point on almost every morning for breakfast after my morning workout. I do like the nutrition label and ingredients list on this powder.

This is the best vegan protein powder ive ever had! Ive bought it 3 times now & I’ll continue. MRM is a great brand. I got really excited about a vegan protein powder that had a flavor other than chocolate & vanilla. I did research and ended up on the MRM website. They had a vegan sample set for only $9! I tried all their flavors, mixed them different ways, baked them different ways. Then came on amazon and got the big thing of it! Cinnamon bun flavor is life changing! Make waffles with it or even put it in vegan nice cream, its amazing Im telling you. The powder for Veggie Elite Smooth is a very fine powder which is what I look for in protein powders because you dont want it to be grainy if you just mix it as a shake. The Chocolate Mocha flavor has a very ‘light’ kind of mocha taste. I think it tastes amazing as well. So worth it.

It’s pretty tastey for a protein shake! The Chocolate Mocha flavor mixed with unsweetened vanilla almond milk tastes just like a rocky road flavored Quest bar to me, so if anyone is worried about liking the flavor, go grab one of those to see what it’s like. The texture isn’t smooth like a whey or casein protein powder, it has a little grit to it, but I expected that since it’s all plant protein. Bottom line is that I’m drinking this to fuel my body and get some dairy-free protein, I’m not drinking it expecting a decadent milkshake, so it fulfills it’s purpose and is pretty tastey too.

Just started using this brand. I have been using Arbonne for years but it is really pricey (even with a discount) so I started looking for a more economical brand. The first shake this am, Vanilla Bean and I add banana, almond milk, and collagen powder. In comparison to Arbonne, I like that this has more protein, no sugar, lower fat, and low carbs.
I’ll post an update after a couple of weeks.

I’ve been drinking MRM Veggie Elite Vanilla for almost 2 years, mainly for breakfast and sometimes as something to have when I’m hungry but don’t want anything heavy. I like that it blends well with my PB Powder and it doesn’t have any weird aftertaste. I’ve tried many powder proteins but have finally found one that I actually like. Maybe it’s because it’s vegetable based (and I’m not a vegan or vegetarian). It’s also low carb, which is a plus for me as I’ve been trying to maintain a low carb lifestyle.
My recipe is 2 cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk, 2 tablespoons of PB Powder, 1 scoop of MRM and 5-6 ice cubes. Blend in a nutri-bullet and then drink. You can add fruit, veggies as you like but I stick with that recipe to keep it low carb and still a good amount of calories to keep me full with my morning coffee.

As a heavy protein shake drinker, I have anywhere from 1-3 shakes a day, 2 scoops each. I’m very cost conscious and I want a product with good flavor, consistency, and natural ingredients. I’ve tried the lead competitors (Vega, Orgain, etc.) and this does everything they do and does it at a lower cost. My stomach is no longer doing backflips the way it does after whey shakes (even lactose free, isolate, you name it). I recommend this product it to anyone who will listen.
I applaud this company for making plant-based health and fitness accessible. I hope they don’t raise the prices, and I look forward to them producing a bulk-size that I can buy. Keep up the good work, MRM!

I bought this about a month ago (not on Amazon) and i’m finally getting around to using it. My reason for purchasing this protein powder is due to an angiogram I had done a few months back. Since the procedure i’ve cut out all dairy, all meat (except chicken), all processed, fried, and fast foods. Since I cut out dairy I started looking for a vegan protein powder to supplement my eating (mainly for post workout and after my hockey games).
After a few hours of doing searches for vegan protein, I decided to buy MRM Choc Mocha flavored protein. Here is my opinion after consuming my first shake. Mixability- I mixed the powder with 12 oz. water and it mixed ok, when I finished my shake there was a small amount of powder at the bottom of the shaker cup. Maybe I could have mixed it a bit more, but I just added a bit of water, mixed it a bit and all was well. This wasn’t a big deal for me. Taste/Flavor- I felt the taste was good, better than i’d expected and not overly sweet. Before my procedure i’ve consumed my share of protein powders and some were alot better than this and others that were just plain horrible. But to be honest i’m definitely sticking with this protein powder. And the price isn’t bad at all.

I couldn’t find a chocolate protein powder, so I thought I’d try mocha. While this mix does have a decent mocha flavor, I found it far too sweet. (Note: I’ve been diabetic since I was a kid and am very much accustomed to artificial sweeteners, and it is very unusual for me to complain about a sweetener being too sweet)
I found a simple work around – I added two tablespoons of cocoa powder. This boosted the chocolate flavor and balanced out the sweetness. I thoroughly enjoy it when I add the extra cocoa.

This review is strictly based on taste. I’m about to complete my first year as a successful vegetarian (1 more month to go!). Although I feel perfectly fine, better than ever actually, I have started to think I should look into supplements to ensure that I’m getting everything I need. So I started to look into things like this protein shake. I’ve never had one of these before, so all I can really comment on is taste.
So how does it taste? Not bad….but not great either. I can tell that it’s an acquired taste, so I’m guessing that I’ll get used to it and then start saying “this taste pretty good”. Having had zero experience in these sorts of things, I can tell you that it tastes a bit chalky (for lack of a better word). Maybe i didn’t use enough water? Not sure, I just eyeballed 8-12 oz of water. It might taste better warm even, like a hot chocolate type of thing. I’m going to have to experiment a bit, but honestly it does not taste bad at all. It’s just kind of odd and will take a little getting used to.
