Activated Quercetin is a unique bioflavonoid derived from plant sources. In human cell culture studies, quercetin has been shown to inhibit histamine release. Additional research needs to be conducted to confirm the effects of quercetin, if any, in humans. Bromelain is a pineapple enzyme that may assist the body in times of stress, while vitamin C helps support the immune system.

I have been taking this for a while now. Excellent to control seasonal allergies. I swear by it. I thought I was ordering the tablets, caplets because they seem to be more effective for me. The description says 200 tablets. I wrote the business last night. I noticed that the bottle said “capsules” as well as the choice of size. I did not see this prior to ordering. To purchasers, be aware that the headline description and actual item don’t mate. THus the star removal because I love this product. In a study, it was also known to lower cholesterol. I’m going to test that out on my next test.

I was skeptical about quercetin, but I read several papers at the National Library of Medicine NCBI that appear to be responsibly written and peer reviewed suggesting quercetin may have useful anti inflammatory properties. I also like that the manufacturer of this product is honest and doesn’t make any outrageous cure-all claims. Personally, I have been dealing with inflammatory issues for over a year and I found that NSAIDs weren’t helping and caused GI irritation as well. Quercetin, bromelain and vitamin C used in this product have few, if any, side effects so it seemed pretty safe to try this product after talking to my doctor. I started with one capsule and worked up to four per day over a few days. After about a week, the inflammation seemed less. I have been using this product for about six weeks now and the inflammation seems greatly reduced, almost back to normal. I am really surprised that a simple dietary supplement appears to have such noticeable results.

I am not sure what people use this for, but for me personally it reduced amount of bruising and helped with faster healing when bruised. This is in fact the only thing which makes a difference.

This helped reduce my “asthma” cough, along with other supplements. I need to take it every day, and I don’t cough as much.

I bought this in the hope that it would help reduce my sensitivity to seasonal allergies. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it cut my allergic reaction completely. No more sneezing, no runny nose, no itchy eyes. I can’t remember the last time that I actually enjoyed spring. This is now my second spring season symptom-free. I’m now looking at others who are sniffling and sneezing and thankful that I am not “feeling it”.
I really enjoy knowing as well that it is a natural supplement and not a pharmaceutically generated product.

As always, quercetin to the rescue for allergy season! Works quickly and with no side effects. Only way you can tell you’ve taken it is because you stop sniffling!! LOL
