You get what you pay for, and this product is worth the price. I have been taking it for years. After six or eight months of taking it, it had lowered my cholesterol level noticeably, not having made any other changes in my diet and/or exercise level in that time. I can’t account for any other reason my cholesterol would have gone down in that period. I took directed dosage to achieve that, but now take one a day for “maintenance.” Will occasionally take two. Highly recommended.

Although these gels are large, they are easy to swallow and have no after taste. It is a great supplement to your proscribed statin. Along with diet and exercise my LDL cholesterol is down to 45 with a total cholesterol of 110.

The nature of fish oil which isn’t highly purified is that it gives you the farts, as is the case with this product. A much more refined omega-3 EPA/DHA fish oil, such as that sold by OmegaVia.com, causes far less gas, but it’s twice as expensive. For the cost/value this Natural Factors fish oil is a much better value for the money. Beware of generic fish oils because if they don’t specify the dose of EPA 400 mg of + DHA 200 mg then they aren’t pharmaceutical equivalents.

This product is okay for the everyday use as a supplement. My doctor will not let me take it for my issues with a 2k + tryglyceride level. I have to take Vacepa which is an expensive fish oil but highly respected in the medical field. I figure I will take the Vecepa until my levels are under control and the switch back to this product. Doctor said I should take 6 to 8 a day when I switch back. Yikes…

We have been happy with fish oil for the last three years, so I keep buying the same oil.

I have used this product for a few years on my doctors recommendation. The bottle I received 4/6/19 and sold by NetRush and fulfilled by Amazon had some leaky capsules. I noticed the smell when I opened the bottle and noticed a couple capsules had air bubbles in them. Those capsules were oozing and tasted terrible. Too late to return. Beware

Perfect. And great price.

Have used these for several years. Somehow I trust the Canadians more when it comes to food & vitamins. Anyway, do they work? Well, my cholesterol does appear to get better when I use them, and they don’t seem to hurt and that’s good enough for me.
