Suggested Use
Adults and children over 12: 4 or 5 capsules, one to three times a day. Take with food.
For children 6-12: Do not take capsules.
Psyllium Husks in powder form is recommended for ease of use. Start by taking 1 serving each day. Gradually increase to 3 servings per day if needed. Swallow one capsule at a time. Take each serving with at least 8 ounces (a full glass) of water or other liquid. Drinking additional liquid is helpful. If minor gas or bloating occurs, reduce the amount you take until your system adjusts. Use every day for best results.

Keeps you regular comfortably but remember to drink lots of water when taking fiber or you will have the exact opposite problem. This is why so many claim they don’t work.

I was having an irregular stomach and couldn’t figure out why. Probiotics are a hit and miss scientifically and don’t produce lasting effects anyway. Decided to try fiber. Research indicates psyllium husks to be the right choice, and this product was by far the better value. I’m glad to say they re-regulated my system. Lately, I’ve been undertaking fasting and the ketogenic diet to change my health. Both of these drastically reduce the amount of fiber you’ll consume. This product has helped me maintain fiber intake.

Been using these for a few years now, not great about keeping up with them for a long periods but great results when I do!
Male, 27 years old, about 6’2, 250lbs, endo-mesomorphic, with a fairly poor high sugar/fat, low fiber diet.
Being a larger guy with a typically more resilient body, inside and out, I would take anywhere from 3-10 of these at a time, probably averaging around 4-6. Have never had any gas or bloating issues taking them, and if taken routinely make me wildly regular with bowel movements.
In general, after a few days to a week I do notice an improvement in mood and overall body feel, including actually feeling lighter.
I do take a few medications, so I always make sure to take them 2-3 hours before I take any of these.
For best results, including weight management, I would really recommend choosing maybe a daily amount to carry on you if you can, and pop a few after any meal. As long as you keep up on it for more than 2-3 weeks, I would be surprised if you didn’t noticed the pounds start dropping at least a little, especially if you have a similar diet to my own.

So, because I have developed bad TMJ syndrome, I cannot eat my raw vegetables for breakfast. Therefore , I am losing 10 grams of fiber a day. I decided to buy the psyllium husk pills, because drinking it is so much more unpalatable. The only issue is to get to 10 grams, I have to take 18 pills. I have started out with three a day. We will see. The people complaining about Prop 65 … something is going to kill you. I’d rather have a “smooth” system and see where it takes me.
