Suggested Use
Start by taking 1 serving each day. Gradually increase to 3 servings per day if needed. Swallow one capsule at a time. Take each serving with at least 8 ounces (full glass) of water or other liquid. Drinking additional liquids is helpful. If minor gas or bloating occurs, reduce the amount you take until your system adjusts.
FOR REGULARITY: Psyllium Husks promote easy, healthy elimination and sweep waste out of the colon more quickly. To maintain regularity and speed waste removal, take 4 capsules 1 to 3 times a day, with food.
FOR HEART HEALTH: To help support heart health, take 5 capsules 3 times a day, with food.
ADULTS AND CHILDREN OVER 12: 4-5 capsules, 1 to 3 times a day with food. For children 6-12, Psyllium Husks in powder form is recommended for ease of use.

Works “almost” as good as raw product in jar. This is good for on the go Orin a hurry…otherwise get the loose stuff and use shaker bottle. To get same result you need to take like 5 of these caps and you can feel it still not the same. Plus more money $$$.

I found that if I don’t take mine with hot coffee or hot tea they tend to get stuck in my throat. Other than this; they are the BEST! No cramping and they promote regularity.

Psyllium husk is, imo, the gold standard for functional fiber. I pretty much hate taking psyllium in powder form though. Gross texture, and I’ve yet to be consistent taking it that way. I don’t mind swallowing pills though. So the past few yrs I’ve tried a good number of psyllium husk capsule products (this one, Nutricost, Viva Labs, Whole Foods 365 brand, etc etc.). While the Nutricost product is the better value, nothing in my experience has worked like Yerba Prima’s. I’m a bigger guy (210lbs) and take up to 12 caps at a time (6 grams of fiber), usually with a meal. The upper limit on psyllium is around 20g a day for most ppl (if you’ve taken more CONSISTENTLY and gotten good results please let me know… am curious).
Life and death is in that ole G.I. tract my friends. Make sure things are getting completely eliminated w/ some good fiber 😉
