Suggested Use
Adults and children over 12: 1 tablespoon, 1 to 3 times a day. Children 6-12: 1 teaspoon, 1 to 3 times a day.
Start by taking 1 serving each day. Gradually increase to 3 servings per day if needed. Stir briskly into at least 8 ounces (a full glass) of liquid. Juice water, soy or rice drink, and milk are all good with Psyllium Whole Husks. For easiest mixing, shake in closed jar. Drink immediately. If product is too thick when consuming, add more liquid and stir. Drinking additional liquid is helpful. If minor gas or bloating occurs, reduce the amount you take until your system adjusts. Use every day for best results.
As with all bulking fiber supplements, do not take within 1 to 2 hours of prescription medications. If you are taking medication or are under a doctor’s care, consult a health professional before use.

Love to use it in pancakes! I drink a tablespoon every night mixed in water. It doesn’t dissolve and can get thick and slimy if in the liquid too long. Taste is OK.. it doesn’t leave me bloated like other fiber products and it’s great for my Keto Lifestyle!

Both my cat and I use this psyllium to provide extra fiber in the morning. We wouldn’t miss a day!

I use this product along with Yogurt and Whey protein and water for a great shake to start the Day!

I have been using this product for years I add it to a little almond milk with a little cocoa powder and some sweetener and it creates a lovely smoothie and does the trick! My husband just mixes it with water every night and finds that to be easy for him to take. Good to buy it organically I read, so don’t mind spending the extra money.

This is my first order of Yerba Prima Organic Whole Psyllium Husks and I am very pleased. Years ago I purchased the YP non-organic and as far as quality, texture and effectiveness, they were the same. In an effort to increase my daily fiber intake—and for heart and colon health—one of the things I’ve added, is psyllium husks. These are comparable in quality to the organic store brand I had been taking, but a better value, and free fast Prime shipping. Psyllium husks are an easy, low calorie source of fiber, although they are not the most palatable. For adults, the directions suggest starting at 1 tablespoon in an 8-ounce glass of water, juice or milk. I am on a mission to reduce my cholesterol by 25 points, and am counting on fiber to help me achieve that goal.

Not about flavor, I take two big spoon full twice a day. About 7 ounces of water, with an ounce of juice. I prefer not to drink with straight juice because taking in all that sugar will work against the benefits of the fiber. I’ve been taking psyllium supplements for over 20 years and this is The best. Start with a small amount once a day, then work up to your tolerance level.

Very happy with this purchase! Great for baking paleo bread or drinking mixed with warm water for added fiber.

It has no flavor as is appropriate. I felt comfortable using the product as it is touted as being organic which is a plus. The price is market competitive but the convenience of buying online is preferable to making a trip to health food store

What you do when you want to do without a chemical based product.

The product is actually a 5 star but I didn’t want the regular Yerba Prima Whole Husk supplement. I really wanted the organic one. I purchase the organic one at the Vitamin Shoppe and really liked. So I thought I would get two more and pay $3 less compared to the Shoppe. If I wanted this regular one I could pick up one at MOM’s this week for $8.99 on sale and not pay $12 bucks. So instead of saving $3 I ended up paying an extra $3 for something that I didn’t want. I will not be ordering again.
