If you are trying to use this for acne I wouldn’t personally recommend it. I bought it just for that reason without really knowing if I was getting enough omega 3’s from my diet. I think I do already since I consume Talapia on a daily basis and have a pretty healthy diet rich in protien and veggies and fruits. But it ended up increasing my breakouts dramatically so as a test I stopped taking it and I stopped breaking out badly. My acne was turning into CYSTIC ACNE. worse kind of acne ever. But for a healthy immune system I’d say take vit a and zinc

This was recommended by my doctor to lower my Cholesterol levels, but in same time since I tend to have some heart PVC & AF events and those pills are supposed to help as well with this. So we shall see how things goes, and I may edit/update my review later if I notice anything bad about those pills. But so far so good !
Also, like some other review here state, the pills are a bit on the big size. Not a problem for me though, but may be for some who cannot swallow something big. Just something to keep in mind before ordering.

I’ve taken NOW Ultra Omega Fish Oil for several years now. I have RA and my Rheumatologist highly recommend that I take 4-6 grams a day. Yes I take 3 am and 3 pm. Never had an issue with burping and bad after taste. All my other supplements are basically from NOW as well! No fillers. I just feel better about taking their products. Does the fish oil help my condition? It does! This is a great inflammation fighter. My joints greatly appreciate that I take this! Not a total fixer as nothing can cure RA but I’ll continue to help my body fight this disease as best I can and this fish oil is a major player in my arsenal!

Great product and great price. Have not had fishy taste yet. Contains more fish oils then other products on the market.

This is a standout product, when you look at the overall value. If you note the Omega 3 mg concentration and weigh against the cost, its the best deal out there. I’ve been using this for a while now, and I feel the difference. Its definitely better the MegaRed I was buying. No funky burps or aftertaste, and the coating makes it easy to consume. I also use another product from Now foods, their Whey Protein Isolate so I was confident the quality was good. This supplement company is one of the few I trust. I definitely recommend this product.

I have taken many, many bottles of NOW fish oil because it tends to have more EPA/DHA for the money. While I do not experience fish burps or taste after taking, the last three bottles I have purchased have just reeked of awful fish smell when you open the bottle. Not sure if pills are bursting/leaking or what, but this seems to be a trend. Bottles were all ordered separately so wasn’t limited to a singular shipping issue. Has me concerned that there is a quality control issue somewhere. Please someone fix it. The smell when you open the bottle is just terrible.

Who knows if these things work, but I LOVE that they are sort of textured so they don’t stick in my throat. Maybe it’s just me, but smooth gel tablets seem to suction themselves to my esophagus and I have to guzzle water trying to get them to slide down. These have an uneven surface which prevents them from sticking on the way down.

Zero fish burps. A little large, but there is no way of making it smaller. No Smells etc. Can effect urine smell though. But good product.

I honestly don’t feel the difference when taking Omega. Same with the other brands.
Moonear –
This is one of the best Omega-3 I used if not the best. I will gladly order it again. Highly Recommended

It has good amount of Omega 3. So you don’t have to eat more capsules. I did not get any fish burps either
CEG2D –
I felt an immediate shift when I went with the Omega’s from this brand.

and a bit different texture than normal ones; easy to grip, only need 2 for your complete daily dose of omega 3
Little Old Lady from Texas –
I just discovered these, and they are the same size as the old ones, but I am getting a concentrated dose in one capsule instead of two! And no fishy aftertaste! Check it out!

This is by far the best omega-3 supplement for the price, you get a very large amount of the essential nutrition in fish oil that help, and you get by far more than what you would get in the competitors. No fish smell.

For a fish oil supplement it has less after taste. As with all supplements it is an unknown quality but is better than my last brand from a large box store.

Omega-3 is an important supplement since farmed animals and farmed fish are fed more grains these days, so the products from them likely are higher in omega-6 than omega-3 than a generation ago. Since it is difficult to get a 1-3 to 1 ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 ratio , I take omega-3 daily.

– No burp
– High EPA concentration means few rather hard to digest fish oil pills
– High quality (molecularly distilled is a process that leaves the “gunk” behind found in fish oil)
– Strong rating on labdoor
– By far one of th

Now’s Ultra Omega 3’s are always a smart choice because they have great ingredients and lots of them all at a reasonable price. I’ve been using this stuff for the past 3yrs and I have no complaints whatsoever. I would also like to say that Amazon did a great job of delivering these fast. I didn’t renew my Amazon Prime so I could not get these in two days but I received them on the 21st when it said the day I ordered them to expect delivery on the 28th, 3-4 day delivery without Prime is not to shabby.

Great quality, helped with my inflammation when I took it on a regular basis, also brought my blood pressure down. I picked this brand because almost every independent lab that test it rates it one of the highest quality

Really helpful for improving my HDL cholesterol, probably.
I think it’s possibly helpful in getting my inflammation marker levels into the normal range.
I also think it’s possible it’s helped with my mental health challenges from chronic pain and constant high stress situations.
However, my doctor told me to stop taking it immediately because the worsened LDL is much more crucial than the improvement in HDL. He said to only take omega-3 supplements that are EPA – only, or I could cause bad cardiovascular issues later from the LDL cholesterol problems the DHA in this causes.
FYI, the pills are average-big, they have no taste or smell on the outside, they don’t stick in my throat and they don’t cause smelly burps.

I was so impressed with this vitamin. I did a lot of research and found my husband needs about 3000mg a day and my little one age 9 1000mg/day to be effective for focus and muscles. There are no “fish burpies” or nasty aftertaste and they go down smoothly. They really help my guys with adhd focus and help me with my cortisol levels. Tje price was cheaper than a local supplement store and saves me time with delivery. I will be definitely auto shipping these.

I’ve been using NOW Foods Ultra Omega-3 fatty acids for many years so has my mom and she has better Vision Clarity while taking these Omega-3s NOW Foods is definitely quality brand trusted as well I definitely would recommend this brand fish oil came in fresh no issues

This is my go to omega 3 supplement. I will continue to buy this again and again. I will say though that the pills are on the larger size and there is a slight fishy taste when you burp, neither of those things really bother me though.

This pill is very similar to Lovaza which is a prescription fish oil supplement providing 65 mg EPA and 375 mg DHA per pill, research has found taking 4 per day can reduce triglycerides by 40-60%. Brand name Lovaza is 10X more expensive than the Now Ultra Omega supplements. Have not had any fish burps or negative side effects.

I was told to take this product when I was pregnant, because of the 1 to 2 ratio of EPA and DHA. I am so thankful I listened because I think it played a tremendous roll in the health and well being of my babies. I now recommend it to all my pregnant friends and family. And I still take it daily now that I’m no longer pregnant. LOVE THIS PRODUCT!

I’d really actually like to give this 1 Star, but I am going to give this product the benefit of the doubt. I am using the O3s to combat GI issues, which I have done in the past with many different other brands and have had excellent results.
That being said, I didn’t realize these have a coating on them (my fault for not reading). I started using them anyway, since I already paid for them and they were here. No fishy after taste at all, which most people would consider to be a good thing, and the whole point of having the coating. But I bought these to help with stomach issues. With it having a coating, I don’t believe they oil is dissolving in my stomach, I think it’s dissolving further down the line, which is causing a lot of gastrointestinal discomfort. I’ve been using them for over a week and it has caused me horrible discomfort.
If you are using these strictly to get more O3’s into your body, I’m sure these are fine. If you are using these to combat GI issues, these are not the oil you’re looking for.

I’m not an expert in fish oil, but I did a fair amount of research. Fish oil is recommended for a variety reasons so I started taking it every day. A health book recommended an “ideal” EPA:DHA ratio of 2:1. I can’t recall the scientific explanation, but EPA apparently should be higher than DHA. One important thing to check for is the total amount of EPA+DHA compared to the total claimed fish oil mg per pill. A number of fish oil products have low EPA+DHA amounts and high “other”, and it may be unclear what the “other” is (example: other omega 3s).
I looked into Krill Oil, but there seems to be unsubstantiated claims about it having a much higher absorption rate than fish oil. Even if this is true, the much higher price of Krill Oil is unlikely to justify a higher absorption rate (if it exists). The amounts of EPA and DHA are fairly low in Krill Oil compared to most fish oil. I found so-called health experts choosing Krill Oil over fish oil, but published scientific papers concluding that Krill Oil may only be slightly better (or may be about the same).
I take 2 pills in the morning and 2 in the evening. This is a total of 2000mg of EPA and 1000mg of DHA. This fish oil seems to be the best “budget” fish oil at a good ratio of EPA to DHA.

Not to talk badly about other brands, but I usually experience a bad taste when I take gel pills. These ones are tasteless, so that’s a major plus! Also, Dr. Rhonda Patrick recommends this particular brand, and she’s rarely wrong. Get it!
