If you are a Stevia user, you probably know how challenging it can be to find that perfect sweetness without bitterness. There are so many brands and very few of them hit the mark for me. Personally, I stay away from the powered brands as they often add other ingredients that introduce unwanted carbs or chemicals and can be difficult to mix properly into cold drinks. I stick with the liquids as they are easy to mix and don’t use bonding or bleaching agents.
I have tried more expensive brands and keep coming back to NOW. In my opinion, it’s the perfect sweet taste without being bitter and has the bonus of being cheaper than most of its competitors. I’ve paid more than $20 for it at the natural food stores so $13 to $15 is a steal. Do yourself a favor and give this one a try if you haven’t already. You’ll save a lot of money and probably find that that it’s as good, if not better, than more expensive brands.

Read so many reviews before I ordered and have tried many different brands and types of Stevia. Definitely have to say this is the best and my absolute favorite. Does not have a bitter flavor, but when you first start using stevia there is an adjustment period where you realize it doesn’t taste exactly like sugar and if you use too much it does have a slight aftertaste. The trick is to start with a few drops and add more if needed. You get used to the flavor and now I prefer it!
I am trying to go back on my ketogenic diet again. The last time I did it I lost 45 lbs very easily and rather quickly but when I went on a cruise this spring I got off it and I have since realized that the food industry puts sugar in everything!! Even mayonnaise??!! But this product allows me to have the sweetness I need in my coffee or tea and I can use it in recipes instead of sugar. I went from prediabetic and high blood pressure, to all normal. Stevia has been instrumental in this!
I have tried the organic version and I didn’t think it was as good as this one, didn’t see the sense in paying the extra money when it didn’t taste as good. * And if you check the back of this one it says Certified Organic Stevia Leaf Extract.
I have tried other brands as well and had a few of the small squeeze bottles of other brands I bought at the grocery store ( I still like the Now brand better) and refilled the empty bottles with this and I can easily slide it in a pocket in my purse and use my wonderful stevia when I’m out rather than the other nasty sweetener options.
I read reviews of others who were using this because they are diabetic and/or also doing a ketogenic diet and were concerned about the fact that it states 11% Organic Cane Alcohol as one of the ingredients… I had to do some research and from what I found, all extracts need some sort of solvent – either alcohol or glycerin. There is Stevia Glycerite and Now brand makes one, but it is much thicker. The alcohol used to make this extract, even though it is from organic cane, has negligible (almost zero) sugar in it and will not effect your blood glucose levels.
Highly recommend

Always good, much better and more powerful than anything else I’ve tried. It also lasts a long time. Just last night my wife and I had home made smoothie desert shakes, made with frozen banana, cashew milk, a touch of vanilla and cacao powder, with a few drops of “BetterStevia Liquid” and they were amazingly good. Getting away from sugar and its resulting overgrowth of Candida, creation of hyper insulin-ism and other negative effects is a real plus. I make a savory, high protein patty, with oatmeal, onion and various seasonings and extenders (cooked rice, fresh spinach, etc.), but it occurs to me that I could make a variation, with raisins, cinnamon and other seasonings, using this Stevia as a sweetener, thereby creating a wholesome desert with no fat or sugar added, though Castor Coconut Flax or some other good oil might be good if desired! The possibilities are endless.

I bought this because I like Now brand and I trust the brand. It was also a good value for the amount you get. I use this in my coffee along with Erythritol. They each have an aftertaste when used alone but together they seem to cancel that aftertaste out. The drops come out very quick so you have to be careful and definitely don’t squeeze the bottle or you’ll get too.much and end up with a horrible sweet bitter taste. I like the flip top cap but unfortunately mine was broken in shipping so I have no way to keep it closed but Amazon thankfully refunded me withoute having to send it back. Overall it’s a good product and is much needed in combination with Erythritol iny coffee.

I have used lots of brands of stevia. Most have been in a dropper bottle. This one is not in a dropper bottle but I put it into a dropper bottle because it is hard to control the amount being used with the bottle in which it comes. I have never had a problem opening the dropper bottle with any other stevia. I use stevia repeatedly throughout the day. I poured this stevia into the same bottle that my last stevia came in. I never had a problem opening the bottle with other brands. With this stevia in the dropper bottle the bottle gets sealed tight shut after every use so that I have to use rubber gripper pad and a lot of strength to get the dropper top off the bottle each time I open it. Also don’t believe it gives the same sweet taste as other stevias.

Bought this for the good price. The flavor is a bit off – there’s a strange after taste that I don’t get from the other brands of liquid stevia I usually get (Trader Joe’s or Sweet Drops). I think this is from the alcohol sugar used in this product. However, for the price, that’s something I can get over. And after a couple days of use I didn’t notice it anymore. My other complaint is the dispensing option. This is simply a squeeze bottle, whereas I’m used to having a dropper to dispense out the product. I find it too messy to simply squeeze it out of the bottle itself, so I’ve been reusing an old liquid Stevia glass container I had with a dropper and refilling that for use. Overall, this is still a great value, but if you have another dispensing option handy, I’d recommend holding onto that to potentially use with this product.

This is by far my favorite liquid Stevia EVER. I have tried so many different ones. This one has the right amount of sweetness so that I don’t find myself having to use too much at once (some brands I end up using so many more drops just to get the same flavor). And it’s not too sweet either. I use it almost every day in my coffee or tea (sometimes I may use a sugar free creamer if I am in a hurry or just want to mix things up). But Stevia is my preferred sweetener, and this brand is definitely my favorite. And the price is good! (At least it is now; of course we never know if prices will change in the future.)
My only TINY complaint is about dispensing it. It tends to drip onto the lid, and if you don’t wipe it off it will start to become cakey and be harder to close the bottle. But that’s more of a normal stevia thing, and less to do with this brand. So I am not going to change my star rating based on that tiny issue. I have just learned to be more careful and more purposeful in how I use it.

I went sugar-free and searched for a variety of stevia products. I figured liquid would be good for my drinks. I like NOW products, and this had so many amazing reviews, so I purchased it. I only tried 1-2 drops in my coffee and BLEH! Bitter alcohol aftertaste. When I forgot how awful it was, I tried it again…this time in iced tea, and EWW! Same nasty taste. Just tried it again a third time after finding it on the back of my shelf…still a no-go lol.
I’m surprised bc there’s so many positive reviews about it having no aftertaste. My only thought is that I am a “supertaster”…so perhaps I’m just more sensitive to the 11% cane alcohol it’s dissolved in? It’s sweet…so there’s that!
I’m just sad bc I wasted money… But c’est la vie. It would’ve been a superb deal if I liked it. 🙂
