I started getting into natural cleaning products and have been making my own household cleaner with vinegar and water, but I don’t like the vinegar smell so I wanted something that had antibacterial properties in it naturally to freshen up the place as I clean. I did some research on what essential oils are safe for pets, and I love the smell of lemons but you shouldn’t use citrus-based oils for cleaning around them, so I decided to give lemongrass a try. It works beautifully, even to clean glass! My house smells like you’re walking through a field of lemons and I’m happy knowing that my household cleaners are all natural! Would definitely recommend this, it has a very strong scent and it’s very pleasant. I was worried that it might be weak in smell but it is definitely not! I’m very pleased and will purchase again

This is my favorite EO. I have tons of it onhand. The only thing that this is lacking is some sort of dropper. I knew it wasn’t going to be in there when I purchased. However when I refilled my smaller bottles of Lemongrass, I spilled it all over because I didn’t use a funnel-which is my fault, but just beware that it will spill down the side of the bottle all over your bathroom counter. At least my bathroom smelled nice.

I first smelled this oil while at my local yoga studio and absolutely loved the clean citrus scent. I asked them and they showed me the bottle they had ordered at Amazon. I bought the 4 oz bottle and a little definitely goes a long way; just a few drops are enough in my diffuser to fill my open kitchen and living room.
I read some of the other reviews that said the smell was bad, I wonder if they got a bad batch? Because the one my yoga studio had and the one I received are very very good.

UPDATE: a daily dose of 1/2 tbs of brewer’s yeast over 1 – 1 1/2 cups of grain free kibble & no fleas! First natural solution I have ever found & the cats love it!
If you’re interested i discuss how all oils did not work as flea repellent in my lemongrass oil review which I’ve pasted below.
{I had bought this lemongrass essential oil because I had read
I had bought this lemongrass essential oil because I had read several claims that it could be used on animals for fleas. WARNING DO NOT PUT THIS ON CATS I have been gently experimenting with essential oils for fleas on my two cats and I can tell you that I have not found one that works to repel fleas and that doesn’t have an adverse reaction. they just scratch themselves from an allergic reaction while the fleas remain comfortably snug in their fur. I also tried just putting a few drops on their collars which they hated but I left them on anyway for about 4 weeks trying various combinations a variety of different essential oils and it did not help to prevent fleas AT ALL. I had tried a combination of Cedarwood oil and lemongrass essential oil as well which was recommended by a few sources on the internet, and it absolutely did not help eliminate fleas. I experimented with this for about a month. Fortunately, both cats are doing very well. whenever experimenting with anything always start very small the smallest dosage possible and work up and that’s a basic rule for all remedy experimentation. Even very low doses such as one drop of essential oil is incredibly powerful and fortunately I don’t know from experience what could be a potentially deadly dosage. To remove any ineffective or harmful application of an oil, etc, blot from cats fur with a damp paper towel. I just wanted to make that mention because I see lots of posts on the internet stating what can be done with essential oils but there is nearly no discussion at all about application or dosage so I had to experiment and find out these things the hard way}

This is one of the original ones I had purchased when residing in Hawaii at one of the local natural food store and the scent is very potent but nicely scented. Only a small amount is needed. I use in either my soap stone burners or diffuser and a little goes a long way. The scent is soft, heavely, and quite calming. So worth the price and I am happy with this particular product from NOW!! Highly recommended for purchase.

The best cat deterrent we’ve ever had. Our new cat loved to sleep on top of our computer where the exhaust fans are. Not healthy for the computer at all. I put two cotton balls with dabs of this on top, the cat sniffed it once and down she went and hasn’t bothered it since. I’ve used it on other places we really don’t want her getting into or into and so far so good. It’s a pleasant smell, it doesn’t hurt the cat but it changes her behavior, that makes it a win in my book!

I’m giving it five stars because it did it’s job in getting rid of the devil creatures bedbugs. I had to give it away after the first use because I am allergic to the lemongrass and I didn’t know it until I opened it and used it. The scent is extremely strong and made me miserable. So it works but I was miserable.

Love love love this oil. Smells amazing and lasts forever. I use this on my wool dryer balls for laundry, diffuser, and clean with it. Tip – 1/2 water, 1/2 rubbing alcohol and a few drops of this along with lemon and orange oil, put it in a spray bottle, shake before using and clean everything. Toilets, sink, granite, mirrors, tile floor, stainless steel, glass, stove top, you name it. No harsh chemicals and fake fragrances. Must have!

I use essential oils for a lot of things. I use this brand for the more “main” EOs like lavender, orange, lemon, grapefruit, lemongrass, ylang ylang, etc. they always smell fresh and even the ones I’ve had for a long time still smell great! I go through these particular oils quickly as I mostly use them for a homemade room and fabric spray recipe. I also use in homemade body oil as well as in diffuser. Even dab straight on my skin as perfume sometimes.
I recommend this product.
