Michael Forbush –
This is my go to pre-natal. I’ve been taking these vitamins for over 4 years now and I love them! I tried several other brands but oftentimes I would feel nauseas. I have confidence when taking these on an empty stomach that I will not get sick. I give it only 4 stars just because you have to take 3 a day. Still I love this product and would recommend this to anyone trying to find a natural prenatal vitamin.
Mel –
I did get a prescription from my doctor initially that make me throw up all day and after some researcher I tried these and they are amazing. No nauseous or sickness.
Greta –
The best multivitamin I’ve ever used! I take these or the prenatals year round but they help curb the crazy hormones before and after child birth. My hair stop falling out and I had energy again. every doctor needs to be handing these out to woman not the expensive crap ones they promote…
Allison –
Used these vitamins through my whole pregnancy, and now postpartum. I never had an issue taking these on an empty stomach, even during the first trimester. Plus, the subscription option meant I didn’t have to think about running out!
Nicole Kightly –
I really like this brand, but my complaint is that there’s a photo in the description for the old formula and the new formula. I automatically assumed I would be getting the new formula, but I just checked (after about a week of taking it) and I received the old formula. This wouldn’t be a big deal, but I showed my OB the new formula and she recommended backing off of the super greens I was taking so it wouldn’t give me too much vitamin A, which can cause facial malformations in the fetus. The new formula has 100% DV, but the only formula only has 63% DV. I wouldn’t have minded receiving the old formula if I had been informed that that would be the case

This is a great prenatal. I have a hard time affording it so I knocked it down one star for price point– that being said– it’s worth paying more to get such a comprehensive and supportive prenatal. You do have to take THREE, which can be challenging during nauseas times but WAY easier to take them Rainbow Lite horse pills. I can take all three at once. Def recommend!
Cyn O –
I really like this brand over Garden of Life ones. Know though, you have to take them 3x a day. Way better than ones that contain fish oil. 3rd pregnancy and I’m barely learning. The fish oil ones add to my nausea. These were a game changer for me.
Lisa Koffman –
I love this prenatal because it is one of the few brands which use whole real foods instead of lab-made vitamins.
I also can take these on an empty stomach and have never had a stomach ache or any other problems.
The pills are rather large and you have to take 3 per day, so if you have trouble swallowing pills, I’d reccomend a pill crusher.
I loved also that these are available for purchase on amazon—-as I didn’t want to drive the store for more with a brand new baby. (My midwife recommended I continue taking them while breastfeeding) plus they are cheaper than I can get them at Sprouts!
Jessenia Marrero –
Have been taking these vitamins for quite a few months and my body likes them. I take them with or without food and never get an upset stomach. Am trying to keep my body healthy since my husband and I are trying to have a baby.

I love these vitamins! I started taking them last year while pregnant with my daughter and still take them since I am exclusively breast feeding. I experience hg (hyperemesis gravidarum) during both pregnancies. This condition is like morning sickiness X 100. With my first, I could barely keep down the other prenatal vitamins I had and didn’t take them because they made me feel worse if I even could keep them down. With my second pregnancy, my husband found these and I tried them and they didn’t make me more nauseous, I could keep them down, and could take them on an empty stomach! I noticed an increase in my energy and just felt a little better overall. Definitely a great natural product!

My wife loves these prenatal pills and was recommended by the doctor over the one the clinic prescribed. I recommend buying these prenatal vitamins.
Tameka –
I took these with my first daughter who is two now and perfectly healthy. She didn’t have jaundice or any other issues! I can’t say I have ever taken three a day on a consistent basis but I definitely get in one and usually two. I am about 8 weeks into my second pro and I am taking them once again. I’m older now, and a bit less active since I’m not working so I’m paying a lot closer attention to my body. I have still not taken 3 a day everyday but I’m doing much better than before. I have really bad morning sickness, I cannot honestly say these have helped that but it’s certainly not made it worse. I started taking these based off of a recommendation I received from a close co worker who has 4 healthy children. She is extremely health conscious as well. I’m glad I took her advice because the proof is honestly in the pudding and my daughter and I are both doing great!

I love this vitamins , my hair is not falling anymore , my nails are getting hard and I’m not even pregnant yet!!
Mohsin Iqbal –
I will have to say,
It took me about a month to really notice the effects. I have so much energy, my hair has went from feeling like a tiny rat tail, to a horse tail. I’ve always had thick hair, but after my last child it thinned out so much. I even had thin spots by my temples. This is unbelievable. I’m just stunned. I feel so good everyday. I’m so glad I found these. I feel if I’m benefiting from these so much, then my baby must be too:)

I had been taking a different prenatal but thought I’d mix it up and try these for a month or so as a friend recommended…
I’d like to like this one more, but it does not contain DHA! Not sure this is the best choice for a prenatal…
Leathal Productions –
My wife, Filipina, first time pregnant, my first as well. I dug into the internet for prenatal vitamins, and comparisons. Independent Research results, and made phone calls. I bought 4 different brands. 2 failed on the quality side of things. Which ruined it for me, regardless of the research and reviews. If the brand can’t bring quality to the front door what good is everything else? 3rd option came with horrid taste. 4th is this one. Though the smell is not all great, it was the 2nd best option, 1st in reviews, and very very close to second in the independent research results. I was pleased to say the least. My wife wasn’t keen on the taste, took them once a night. Doctor results and all are going awesome. The first week or so there were signs of side effects, but that didn’t last more than a week or so. The benefits out weigh the beginning issues. We are half way on the second bottle. Nothing is not worth researching before subjecting your unborn to the chemicals of the worlds food and nutrient supplies. I even had a back up in place just in case.
My only issue is the DHA. I don’t care the fact she has to take these 3x a day. But come on man… Where is the DHA. Don’t believe some of the answers in the “Questions” portion of this product regarding DHA. There is no docosahexaenoic in this bottle at all.
We still use these and intend on finishing them. Due in 10 weeks, and taking another product for the DHA and Alaskan wild fish oil combination.
Try it! To each their own…

Love these! Wouldn’t take any other brand. They don’t make my stomach hurt, even if I take on an empty stomach. They are big and I have no problem swallowing pills, but they do break in half very easily if you do. I don’t think they taste unpleasant or have a strong taste in general and the ingredients are great! Worth every penny.
Hannah –
I appreciate the multi-dose of those vitamin (3 tablets/day) due to the nature of absorption and digeation in general (you never really know when or how well your body absorbs the nutrients you ingest, so by splitting up the dose I feel you give yourself a better shot at absorbing as many nutrients as possible). I wish there were slightly more calcium in them, but I eat a lot of broccoli and other dark leafy greens to add more calcium in my diet. I will say that I have not had to take an additional iron supplement with these like I did with my first pregnancy and a different vitamin. I have a history of fairly intense anemia (to the point of fainting and pica!!) and am always concerned about a recurrence. There have been a few times this pregnancy where I’ve craved molasses and beef has tasted reeeeeeeeally good (not usually a fan of beef), but I had also been forgetting at least part of the vitamin dose for a few days at the tail end of my second trimester. As soon as I resumed the full dose it fixed itself.
To the reviewer who had a baby with trisomy 18 and appears to be blaming the vitamins for not preventing this: my son had trisomy 13 and I was 29 when I conceived him. Neither my husband nor I have any chromosomal abnormalities. Sometimes this stuff just happens, and NO vitamin or supplement out there is going to tell you that they can totally prevent chromosomal or birth defects in general (or at least they shouldn’t, and if they do, stay far away). I wasn’t taking these with my son; I was taking a store brand that also had ginger and herbs, and was dye free. I took that same brand with my daughter (first pregnancy), who was born totally healthy in every way, though I had to take an additional iron supplement. Vitamins and supplements are not going to guarantee you a perfectly healthy baby or egg, they’re just meant to help ensure your pregnancy isn’t leaching your body of the nutrients you need, and that your baby is hopefully still getting what s/he needs to grow in a healthy way.
All in all, I appreciate that this vitamin is made with real food, the dose is split (because it’s hard to cram real food in one swallow-able pill…) which helps give you the best shot at absorption. I don’t really appreciate the price, but real stuff is usually more expensive than fake stuff, so there ya go. Is it a great vitamin for those who suffer from intense nausea/hyperemesis? Pretty sure i still threw it up in the first trimester, but I threw up pretty much everything (including water!!), but I bought these for the other reasons I just stated, not for their supposed ease on an empty stomach.

It’s when you’re vitamins tasted like dirt steeped in sort is when you know they’re good for you
I’ve been using these for just over a year. My pixie cut grew out so fast, I had to admit to my friends it’s because I’ve been talking alone great vitamins. Now they’re on them, too!
I am actually reordering tomorrow before I run out
Thank gawd for Prime
Abc1239 –
the only vitamin that doesn’t give me constipation.
Angelina –
These are very gentle. I’m thrilled that I can take them on an empty stomach. The flavor isn’t great but the ingredients are. I would for sure recommend these to any mommy to be out there having morning sickness or not having an appetite.
Charles Ngo –
After fathering 3 kids coupled with 15 plus years of healthcare experience, this is one of the best prenatal vitamins I ever bought my wife. How do I know this? I can see it in my newborn. My first newborn child, had the generic brands from CVS, Walgreens, and Walmart. The result: normal delivery, jaundice baby (3 days in NICU) and no hair. My second newborn, had a name brand from CVS, Walgreens, and Walmart. I don’t want to mentioned any names. The result: normal delivery, some minor health issues(dropping eyes and ear infections), and no hair. My third child had New Chapter the entire 9 months and no other brand. The results: normal delivery, healthy baby (knock on wood), lots of hair. I attribute this best on objective observations from buying the different types of prenatal vitamins. Based on the results, as a healthcare professional and father of 3, I highly recommend this brand of prenatal to all expectant mothers.
Denise Smith –
I tried the pre-natal vitamin vs. regular women’s vitamin on the suggestion of practitioners nurse but see no difference in how I felt. I do, however, see that there is no difference in the number of broken pills. This is becoming a problem as I am “old school” and never take any pill that is broken.
Carol –
Flavor isn’t great have to take with juice but all organic similar grade vitamins multi taste bad to me.
Robert R. –
I was starting to wonder if I would ever find a prenatal vitamin that didn’t make me very nauseous unless I had eaten a lot before I took it but I finally have! I am one happy happy customer definitely putting this on our subscribe and save
Stephanie Skillicorn –
Took during both pregnancies. First pregnancy I didn’t have any problems, just had to plug my nose sometimes because the smell would get to me. Second pregnancy I was much more sick and threw these up a couple times. SO much worse coming back up! I couldn’t smell them the rest of my pregnancy because the smell made me sick.
I do like the ingredient quality in them though!
Alexandria Barron –
This is my favorite prenatal I’ve tried. The only negative things my medical provider had to say about it was that it needed more vitamin c and that the magnesium wasn’t in the optimal form for absorption. However, I’m enjoying them because of the iron. I think that was something that my body needed a little extra of.
Q –
No joke. I got these for my wife it she stopped being nauseous in no time. They also have everything you’ll need in them.
Rachel Tucker –
I was dealing with nausea still going into my second trimester but when I switched to these prenatals, the nausea dissipated and I got some more of my energy back! Definitely recommend.
spicy –
At the moment I am about to hit my 2nd trimester and have been taking these ever since the other “high” brand gave me terrible side effects during the night. I took these the next day, and never had an issue with morning sickness again, huge relief let me tell you. So yeah, definitely sticking with these over any 1-a-day pill any day.
Noryan Ramos Diaz –
I swear by These !!
Princess McDonald –
These are the best vitamins that I have found so far. I was a bit worried about taking them on a empty stomach since I can never eat without getting nauseous but that is the best time for me to take them. You can actually taste the vegi taste in them when burping but that’s ok with me. The PNV prenatals that the doctor prescribes does not go well with my stomach and the gummies make me more nauseous then ever with all the sugar in them.
Mamamamamama –
I’ve used this vitamins during and after both of my pregnancies. They are a great option if you deal with bad morning sickness.A little pricey but you get good quality in return.I was a little surprised the company sold to P&G as i wasn’t aware but happy they maintained the quality and cleanliness of the product
Jessica –
I will keep this short and sweet and just say that these are the highest quality prenatal vitamins you will find. If you want the best for your baby, this is your vitamin. They never upset my stomach, granted I haven’t had bad morning sickness. Absolutely recommend
Jesslyn Ostrokol –
I’ve been using these prenatal vitamins for about 5 years now. I started using them when I was pregnant with my first child (I have two now and am TTC a third) and have taken them pretty much ever since. They don’t hurt my stomach and haven’t had any negative effects. Maybe TMI but I don’t have electric yellow urine after taking them like I have after many other vitamins I’ve used in the past. I feel like this is because my body is actually getting the vitamins better instead of expelling them with my wastewater.
Hannah –
I had a very sensitive stomach and stingy appetite throughout pregnancy. This vitamin never upset my stomach. Most importantly though, my daughter was born SUPER healthy despite the fact that I had to take epilepsy meds and couldnt eat a very colorful diet due to my food aversions.
GraffitiGirl01 –
I love thes prenatal the first most important thing to me was that they are vegan. Me and my family do a kosher diet and the father of my child follows Islam which means no pork no gelatin…it is very hard to find good quality prenatals with no gelatin.
2. These have all the vitamins a normal prenatal has plus some very nice ones of its own. I picked this one for the special prenatal herbal blend that’s added. I couldn’t find any other vegan prenatal that had all the extra fruit and leaves this one has to offer.
3. The pills aren’t capsules however they swallow very easy. They have a vitamin healthy sort of smell but they don’t have a taste.
I’d recommend these to anyone during there pregnancy or breastfeeding
I will take this the rest of my pregnancy (till February 2018) and for the next 2 full years while I breastfeed. Prenatals are more than important and I’m very happy that I found this one.
