I have anemia and I’ve tried other supplements that come in pill form but they made me extremely nauseous and I was vomiting for hours. These supplements taste good, they dissolve easily, and the iron content is high so you only have to take one. I’ve only had a couple but they’ve been perfect so far. You get a lot for what you pay for so I will definitely be buying more in the future 🙂

My husband has been using Nature’s Plus Chewable Iron for over a year and his iron levels have gone back to normal so we are very happy with this product.

I don’t like to swallow big pills. So, I buy gummie or chewable pills whenever they are available. I also thought that I don’t get enough iron in my diet. And those are the reasons why I purchased Natures Plus Chewable Iron. These tablets deliver 150% of the daily recommended iron intake. And they are not too expensive. The only problem I have is that they taste like, well, iron.
TX mom –
This is a repeat purchase for Natures Plus chewable Iron plus C and herbs. I stay low in Iron and find that since I’ve started chewing one tablet every other day my numbers stay higher and I feel better. I love that this is chewable and has a pleasant taste! I highly recommend these, as I will be purchasing them from now on.

Finally an iron supplement that I can take! Both Spring Valley Slow Release and Nature Made tablets upset my digestive system; and Enzymatic Ultimate Iron gelcaps were too big for me to swallow. This NaturesPlus Chewable Tablet is indeed chewable and not at all unpleasant to take.
I have only recently started using it, so I cannot comment on its effectiveness.

Pregnant with twins I took this pill about 2-3 times a week. After my c section they measured my haemoglinin and it was 14! Which is the high end of normal . This pill gives no discomfort in the stomach. Highly recommend. Won’t ever by other kind of iron pill

My OB diagnosed me with gestational anemia and told me to take an iron supplement. I can’t take pills well, despite my best efforts, so chewables were the next option. I’ve only taken one, so I obviously haven’t seen the benefits of them. They have a strange taste, honestly, but I’ll take these over regular pills you have to swallow. There is definitely an aftertaste to these, so if that bothers you, have water or orange juice nearby.
Kerry –
Love these chewable Iron pills….I have anemia real bad, and my dr can’t believe how great my bloodwork was last month!! This is the 2nd bottle i have ordered from this company..And I will be ordering more from them, were prompt service..

These chew-able iron tablets are easier on sensitive tummies that their swallow it whole counterparts. However their taste leaves a lot to be desired. If you’re able to take the pill and not have to chew these up then go that route, but if the pill upsets your tummy these are the way to go.
Chris –
Got these for my hubby and he insists on using only this brand.

I wanted to try these out to see if they would help me have more energy throughout the day and I think it’s working! I accidentally skipped one day and noticed that I felt tired that day. I take these last after all of my other vitamins because the taste is so great.

I can honestly say that these chewable iron tablets are beyond gross! However, they don’t make me sick. Wish I had considered a pill before purchasing these. I’ve been taking them four days now and I haven’t really noticed a difference, but it’s still early so we’ll see. I’m a first time mom in my third trimester and I have low iron.
Customer –
I bought these for my daughter to boost her iron, as she always gets really pale around “that time of the month.”
She and I agree that the taste is really good, and they definitely seem to be helping her.
I have taken them myself a few times, after learning that low iron can cause a rapid heartbeat. I have experienced this only occasionally and these supplements take care of it. I only take this iron as needed, since I am no longer menstruating and don’t want my iron to get too high.

I’m not good at swallowing pills, so these are perfect for me. Taste is fine, berry or something. Chalky of course, but take a swig of water and you’re fine.
Betsy Herrmann –
Love that it’s chewable. I have difficulty swallowing pills. Taste is very pleasant. After taking the iron for a week, I felt so much better! Love that it’s combined with vitamin C to aid with absorption. No upset stomach!
K. Reamer –
I only take chewable or gummy supplements and this is the best tasting and most affordable iron out there. My iron levels have been where they need to be since I started taking this so apparently it works.
Erica –
I am a VSG patient and needed something chewable. The taste was pleasant. I’m very happy with this product.
Eric Alan Marx –
I thought I would right a great review because there seems to be a lot of negative reviews regarding taste. I like the grape taste of this product and for me there was no bad iron aftertaste. So I think since almost everyone has different taste buds is why some may think this product was not for them; so please try it; you might be one of the ones, like me, who like this natural product.
Mel –
Happy with this. I’m always on the lookout for easily digestible iron. Easily chewable, but my iron levels are unchanged

*update 6/16/20*
I have dealt with iron deficiency anemia for years… I’ve had multiple infusions and even blood transfusions when required.
October of 2019 all of my symptoms returned (headache, dizziness, tingling in my fingertips and toes and shortness of breath)
I went to my hematologist to discover that my ferritin was low, down to 6.
Normally, I would be set up for an infusion, but we were about to leave for my sons graduation from basic training. I wasn’t going to be able to schedule one for at least another week.
Out of desperation, my husband found these and told me to start taking 3/6 a day, which I did. Oral iron pills I can not absorb and cause severe tummy issues.
Within 2 days I noticed my SOB was gone and my headaches subsiding! And no tummy issues!
I will be getting my ferritin check soon and will report back the findings. I know they are up, but by how much, that is the question!
*update*- labs performed this month(June 2020) show that my ferritin has increased from 4 to 18! Praise God!??
No iron infusion needed.

I think they work because i have more energy and my stools are darker but the metallic test is horrible mid chew. The metallic taste gets worse and worse as you keep taking them so i can no longer tolerate it.
rhhodapp –
Taste IS NOT BAD… after taste is definitely irony, but I just take a drink or take my gummy vitamins right after and that’s that. They’ve been great!
Mom and Dad –
Perfect for people who can’t tolerate iron. My neurologist recommended this and it’s been a big help
Delana C –
After having gastric bypass surgery, patients are unable to absorb enough nutrients from food they consume and need to use supplements. For the first year after surgery, I took a different iron supplement that was suggested to me by the bariatric center. By year two, blood work showed my hemoglobin to be at 5.4 g/dL requiring me to undergo a series of IV iron infusions followed by several iron injections.
The normal hemoglobin range is 12.0 to 15.5 g/dL for women. Over a period of a year, I tried several different brands of chewable, liquid, and gummy iron supplements which did little to help keep my iron levels within the normal range.
That is until I stumbled upon this iron! I’ve been taking 2 chewable tablets each day for over 2 years now. And I’m happy to report that my iron levels have remained within the normal range with this product.
The taste is not enjoyable, BUT I have tried more than a dozen other types of chewables, gummies, and liquid iron supplements and this one is more tolerable than 95%+ of the supplements I’ve tried.
If you are a bariatric patient, BUY this product! Don’t hesitate! It works!

I became slightly anemic shortly after a combination of my c section and breastfeeding so I tried these. Love the chewable! Good flavor and no constipation! And I really felt a difference after a week or so.
K. Parker –
Great iron supplement. It brought my iron levels up with no ill affects. It’s chewable and tasty. If you’re having an issue maintaining or getting your iron levels up. I would suggest you take this iron chewable. No upset stomach, no cramping, you can take it on a full or empty stomach and it should bring up your iron stores in a couple of weeks depending on the frequency you take it during the day.
C.K. Vanover –
These are the only iron tablets that my GI system can tolerate. I’ve tried dozens of varieties, including the liquid iron, and all make nauseous with miserable stomach pains. These are chewable with a pleasant taste and they work. They are the only brand that I have bought since discovering them several years agao.
