This really helps me with motivation as I have clinical depression and have a hard time getting out of the house and taking care of my responsibilities on most days. I’ve read it really helps with your wirkout too if you time it right when you take them

Had gotten to the point where I couldn’t get a properly edgy buzz from coffee. Life was boring and grim. Then I used this supplement, and I’ve got my buzz back! Couldn’t be happier.

i love NOW vitamins. i wont take any other brand. the prices are super affordable. and compared to other brands i used when trying to stick to a a vitamin regime, NOW brand has noticeable results. physical and mental. i absolutely love this brand.
i started taking this on the 20th of June…so about 2 months. i was interested to see if it could help me stop drinking. to be honest with you, i started taking numerous vitamins around the same time…and just a few weeks ago was going through my bottle to see what i needed to reorder. i had completely forgotten what Tyrosine was and what I had purchased it for…but i knew i had taken 500mg three times a day. so i googled and remembered i had got it to see if it could help me stop drinking/stay sober/reduce urges and craving. whoa, has it ever. i stopped drinking weeks ago but it was when i went to figure out why i started taking Tyrosine and to decide if it was worth it to reorder that i realized….during this time i’ve been sober my thoughts of alcohol and subsequent cravings are minimal – borderline nonexistent. completely different experience this time getting sober with tyrosine. i can say in full confidence this makes a huge difference. honestly it’s been so easy to stay sober. and it’s a major struggle for me.
researching vitamin, mineral and amino acid deficiency in alcoholics has greatly helped me formulate a vitamin regime. this is the first time i’ve gotten sober at the same time as starting a vitamin regime. the difference is night and day, both mentally and physically. i would highly recommend researching amino acids and neurotransmitters in alcoholics.
i will be on this supplement for a long time.

I’ve been showing signs of Parkinson’s and asked Dr. Google what natural things I could try. L-tyrosine came up over and over again. After trying these on and off again for a few months, I give you my personal empirical evidence that they do reduce PD symptoms. I’m a believer.

I ordered this to help me with general fatigue, anxiety, and depression. I didn’t want to try anything pharmaceutical so I did research and figured I would try L-Tyrosine, L-Tryptophan, and I also ordered the True Focus Blend, and dopa mucuna. These ( Tyrosine) help me focus, take away my lethargy, and make me feel sharp. I just got them today too! OVERALL, amino acids are definitely solving my issues, thank goodness, finally. Why didn’t I know this before? lol

I have been dealing with low norepinephrine and low dopamine levels for years. What this feels like is a strange version of major depression that for me DOES NOT include sadness. And because of that I didnt realize that it was depression. I really thought I was just lazy and had very poor willpower. I always felt exhausted and tired, I never had any motivation to do anything, I had no focus and would just quit everything I started doing within 15 minutes, and I didnt like doing anything. I tried a few antidepressants (SSRI’S, NDRA’S, and SNRI’S) each with horrible side effects and each helping a little at first then platueing and me feeling/being the same. I got really sick of the whole thing and really tired of feeling like no doctors actually listening to what I felt like. Finally I decided to do some research and I read an article on norepinephrine and dopamine and the way not having enough can effect the body. This article also gave some suggestions for natural ways in which you could possibly help yourself with certain supplements and nutrition. Tyrosine was one of the suggestions. I ordered this supplement that very same day and I’m so happy I did. I feel pretty much normal again from taking this and korean ginseng. I no longer feel exhausted, I find joy in my activities, I WANT to do things, and I am able to focus and keep doing whatever activity until I finish it. It’s truly amazing to me that this supplement has worked better than all the pharmaceuticals that I was prescribed, but it does. I HIGHLY recommend these.

I tried this supplement primarily because I thought it couldn’t hurt. I’ve had hypothyroidism in the past, and I was wondering recently if my thyroid/adrenals were functioning properly. I’m in my early 40s, and I take one pill per day. After just a few weeks, my tummy is flatter, my arms thinner, and my pants looser. I think it’s taking care of the high stress/cortisol-induced “bad” visceral fat that is so hard to get rid of. I’ve changed nothing else in terms of diet/exercise. It’s unbelievable, really. In recognizing everyone is different, for $10, I think it’s definitely worth a try. 🙂

Decided to stop taking adderall after more than 10 years of being prescribed. Tyrosine has definitely helped me with the transition back to my “original” self. I’ve been taking 2 pills on an empty stomach each morning and it definitely wakes me up and helps me focus. Everyone is different but thankfully I don’t have any negative side effects after a few weeks of taking it.
I’ve tried one other brand of tyrosine before but got this because it’s not as expensive… there doesn’t seem to be a difference so I’ll probably continue to buy this brand.

My Doctor recommended that I take Tyrosine in order to help balance my brains neurotransmitters like Dopamine and Serotonin.
I got addicted to my Fentanyl patches after taking them from a pain doctor for over 5 years. Long story…but needless to say what opioids do to your brain is screw up the balance of neurotransmitters. When you stop taking an opioid like Fentanyl, your brain doesnt jist start producing the right amount of dopamine and serotonin. Instead, you are depleted of these imlortant good chemicals for a long time after stopping any opiood. It depends on how long you were on opioods and at what strength or dose as to how long it will take your brain to heal and balance out these neurotransmitters. In my case, i was looking at a long time. I was on super higher dose of fentanyl 400 mcg patches ingesting them. For about 6 years before, during and after 5 reconsteuction surgeries.
I was looking at at least a year before my brain totally balanced out after stopping opilids completely. That was NOT fun at all. Deathly experience i would say.
So, after getting educated by my doctor…he said that I could speed up the balancong process by taking precursors…Tyrosine like this one is a perfect example.
I found these ones that were priced good for the amount. ive been taking them and they seem to helo fight off depression and feelings of despair which is what you get when you are depleted of the brains dopamine and serotonin.
Be sure to take these every single day because its going to take a few weeks before they take affect. It takes a while for the tyrosine to get flowing throughout your blood and body. I hope this helps depending on what reason you have for taking tyrosine. Let me know if this review was helpful or not below.

I have chronic depression. Sometimes I experience spontaneous desires to self-harm which for me indicates insufficient dopamine. Using this helps me to stabilize my dopamine quickly and easily.

I had to quit taking my ADD meds, and then started looking for natutal solutions with my holistic psychiatrist. She said this supplement is very important along with 5-HTP.
And I gotta say, I feel very mellowed out taking these two supplements. Mellowed out in the way that meds did for me in that I am comfortable and ready to focus on my work. It is like I feel leveled out and that really helps me in gettinh things done.
It is rare that I get results from supplements, although I’m not full on ADD, I do have some real symptoms and I’m very happy that after taking the leap in getting away from toxic meds I’ve found actual refugee in natural supplements like this one.
