Cinnamon has a storied reputation as a popular condiment and a staple in traditional medicine while researchers discover even more health benefits.
Cinnamon is one of Mother Nature’s overachievers; an ages-old condiment and possibly a tonic for normalizing blood sugar and reducing oxidative stress.
Wonder why we’re excited to stock this in our KOS Pantry? Consider a quote from a respected alt-med journal: “In addition to being an antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antidiabetic, antimicrobial, anticancer, lipid-lowering, and cardiovascular-disease-lowering compound, Cinnamon has also been reported to have activities against neurological disorders, such as Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s diseases.”
At KOS, we want to help you win the war against free radicals wreaking oxidative stress in your body. Cinnamon is a combatant armed with large amounts of highly potent polyphenol antioxidants; serious ammo to protect against uninvited intruders.
One of Cinnamon’s most promising attributes is the evidence it can be cardiovascular protective. The Journal of Clinical Lipidology reported; “Cinnamon supplementation significantly reduced blood triglycerides and total cholesterol concentrations…”
Cinnamon can help block several digestive enzymes to slow sugar absorption in the bloodstream after a high-carb meal. Researchers are excited about potential benefits for type 2 diabetes and pre-diabetes as it seems to improve fasting blood glucose.
Cinnamon might have significant neuroprotection ability. Animal studies are promising. Two compounds in Cinnamon seem to inhibit buildup of a protein, tau, in the brain, which is one of the hallmarks of Alzheimer’s disease. We’ll keep our hopes high.

Good product but honestly it just feels like a tub of regular cinnamon, so I’m not really sure what to review on that. I can say I have used it in one hot drink and it did mix well. Other than that, I have only used it in smoothies. Again it mixed well, and with one scoop of product, you can taste the cinnamon in any shake you use. But I’m an almond milk drinker when it comes to shakes & smoothies, so I can’t say what drinking it with only water would be like.

I really love adding this to my tea or coffee. It is a good sized container, and you only need one small scoop. i am using this along with Bay Leaf Powder in tea every evening, and it helps offset the strong taste of the bay leaf. My blood sugars are doing much better.

This is an excellent product and is real cinnamon bark. This is the kind of product that gives you the true health benefits. I use cinnamon regularly for its anti inflammatory effects. I’ve been very pleased with KOS so far.

I use a healthy dose of cinnamon daily. Make sure your cinnamon is “real” from one source rather than a blend “cassia” and organic to ensure purity. This will lead to one getting the most health, flavor, and aroma benefits.

I love cinnamon. I put it on so many things in place of sugar. It’s brightness obviates the need for sugar. And this is so much healthier than the cheap stuff in the supermarket.

This is pretty much ground cinnamon but with a sweeter taste. I did not realize before purchasing, but it does mix well and taste delicious in smoothies!

The scent and taste is not as strong as regular cinnamon. I do think its a great value for money considering its ceylon.
