Sanja Roberts –
My natural color is medium to dark brown but I’m about 40% grey now. I’ve been using Herbatint and Naturtint for about 20 years, different colours, but slowly going lighter and lighter as I get older and more grey.
This morning I mixed Swedish Blonde and Platinum Blonde, both by Herbatint and I was fairly happy with the results. The Swedish Blonde is highly recommended to add the extreme ashy tone but on it’s own it is extremely dark, which is odd because it is not advertised that way on the photo in the box.
I had read previous reviews and many had recommended to mix it with 10N so I did and I’m really glad that I did. I think this is probably the lightest color one can expect to achieve, in ash blonde, with these types of herbal products.
If you want a strong ash, then you must use the Swedish Blonde, but it won’t get you a light blonde. In fact, when I opened the color bottle, it was dark muddy brown and it really freaked me out. I thought they put the wrong colour in it and I was really upset! But it was all good.
My hair came out shiny and soft, very nice, overall. It’s not easy to make dark hair go light, but this product does the best job so far. This may be a colour combo I stick with for the rest of my life. I have tried Naturtint, 10A named Light Ash Blonde, and it was absolutely awful. It came out brassy and yellowy orange and I will not use that again.
For those who want to save a bit of money and skip the one step process, I believe I once tried Herbatint 8C, Light Ash Blonde and achieved a similar effect – I might give that one more try, but this combo turned out nice and ashy if perhaps still a bit too dark, despite using the platinum!
Herbatint colours are typically darker than the Naturtint colours, I don’t know why. Herbatint is manufactured in Italy whereas is manufactured in Spain. Herbatint is a little more expensive, but I think it’s worth it for the quality of this product.
lissetteOtero –
I expected to get a more light color
Lara Smith –
I mixed 10C and 10N in equal parts and achieved the perfect shade of light blonde with no brassiness.
albana –
Not a Swedish blond color even though I’m naturally blond. It comes out like a light honey blond.

I’ve been using this product for half a year. New growth is about two months old in pic give or take a week. Easy to use, doesn’t chemical bomb my entire house. I have super sensitive skin and it doesn’t burn, create red rash, dryout, itch or stain skin. its way more gentle than other products I’ve used for years and years. I’d like more light hue lift but for a less abrasive product it does a good job.

Didn’t seem to work. I love herbatint, but this one was a dud.
Sarah Davis –
I have dark brown hair with gray strains here and there. I tried using solely this Swedish Blonde color and it turned out really nice. There’s no red or orange color. My hair looks natural dirty blonde with blonde highlights. I’m so happy and plan on ordering more.

Not true color. I wish they would pRovide a color chart. My hair turned copper red at first. Washed away a little and now it looks almost blond. Great quality, make sure you read thee reviews. Don’t go based on their description.
