Flora Floradix Iron Tablets – 80 Tablets
Are You Iron-Deficient?
Iron deficiency knows no boundaries. It is estimated that as many as 26% of reproductive-aged women are iron-deficient, with additional high-risk groups including athletes, the elderly, and vegetarians. Iron is an essential element for your body, and when it’s low, your energy levels will decrease. Other tell-tale symptoms include: weakness, pale skin, dark under-eye circles, brittle hair and nails, shortness of breath, and cold hands and feet. If you think you might be deficient, Floradix Iron Tablets provide a time-tested and convenient way to help prevent deficiency or turn it around. This formula includes Iron, Vitamin C, Thiamin, Riboflavin, Niacin, Vitamin B6, Folic Acid, and Vitamin B12, plus 55 mg of a proprietary blend of dried mixed extract of spinach leaf, carrot root, fennel seed, and rosehip extract to help you work your way to optimal health.

I normally take the liquid Floradix but im going on vacation and I needed to switch to the pills, so far it’s good, no constipation which was a big concern since I’m pregnant. I do think it works alot slower than the liquid but for what I need it works.
As far as the packaging issue everyone is having I dont get it. The pills are labeled with instructions on how to open, tear along the perforated edges, once isolated peel the paper, under the paper there is a silver foil that easily tears, sometimes the paper takes the foil with it. easy peasy, unless they got bad batches.

This stuff is great. I’m pregnant and was staying anemic but I didn’t want to take prescription iron pills because I had heard such awful things. I ordered these right away, when I read the reviews. After a week of not-so-consistently taking them, I had my iron checked and there were no problems. I think I will keep taking these indefinitely, as anemia and iron absorption has always been an issue for me anyway. I haven’t had any negative side effects. As other reviews said, I think it actually makes me more regular, which being pregnant, I will take it!

I love this product, because it is finally an iron pill that does not constipate me.

I used to take the liquid supplement and also like these tablets. They seem to be absorbed quickly and are easy to take. I also struggled initially to get them pushed out of the blisters but found on the back instructions to peel the foil off. This is MUCH easier and I recommend it to everyone who mentioned difficulty in getting the pills out! I have yet to find out how my iron levels are boosted.

Trying to stay healthy in these trying times! I bought this product in England and found it very good for my tired senior blood! I find no bad effects but then I do eat a quite healthy diet, just have a bit of lack of energy which I attribute to being almost 70 yrs old. So glad I was able to easily purchase it at Amazon and so quickly, especially in these hectic days!

I was anemic and tried a few different iron supplements (including the liquid form of this) before settling in on this one. They all upset my stomach so I started taking just 1 of these daily and WITH FOOD unlike the 2-pills-without-food dose recommended by them. That was the magic combo for me. No upset stomach and my levels went up. But the packaging…omg…it’s really hard to get into the pills. I finally figured out how to delicately peel back the foil seal over a whole sheet so they pop out more easily when I need them. I’m not old or weak and I find these really difficult to manage. I’m not sure how the elderly or really sick people manage with this.

I was pregnant and anemic. Otc iron pills gave me worse diarrhea than e coli from romaine lettuce from Yuma, AZ. I never noticed side effects from these. My iron went up 2 points in less than 4 weeks. Two pregnancies later, and I recommend these to anybody. Weird name. Awesome product!
Diana –
Flavor sucks, nasty like iron flavor haha but they work. Pregnant and anemic, these helped a lot! Within like two weeks or so my iron was increasing.

Best iron supplement

I have suffered from severe anemia after having surgery. This has been my life saver. For those who have trouble absorbing iron this has really helped me!!!! Highly recommend this product!!
LaFemmeAB –
I love these iron pills. They’re small, but effective. I was anemic from heavy monthly bleeding due to endometriosis and uterine fibroids and these pills helped to bring my iron levels back up in preparation for surgery. I continue to take them following my surgery (which made me anemic again and necessitated a blood transfusion) and my blood work has been coming back great!

My main complaint with the liquid form of this product was always that I never could finish a bottle before it expired. This gives the same great iron plus vitamins and I just toss it in my weekly pill sorter and voila! Save money and get great results.
Martha Davis –
No constipation

I order these regularly. They don’t upset my stomach/regularity as much as conventional iron supplements. I like the product and will continue to purchase. I recommend them!

Floradix Iron is very helpful getting my iron levels back to normal after surgery. Especially if I or husband have self donated blood before surgery. Gets your oxygen carrying red blood cell counts back up without upsetting your gut.

It may work but you will also have to…
Whoever designed the pill pop bubble may have forgotten that people who are anemic tend to feel weak and tire easily. Even my very strong muscle laden non-anemic hubby had to work to pop one these pills out for me. I always had to resort to resort to piercing the pill cell with the point of a scissor.
Next, if you have a sensitive sluggish gut like I do, this thing will leave you bound up with a rock, straining and praying for mercy in the restroom. Enough said. As for the effectiveness of the product, I actually think that it does help because I did feel a bit more energy when I used the pills it’s just that I don’t wanna have to work so hard everyday.
So sure, yes, try it but drink loads of water and be prepared to work.

Excellent product and gentle to the stomach.
The package should NOT be a criteria to leave only one star. It is good that the paper of the package is strong – it keeps the pills clean and dry. You can use a tiny hair needle or similar and then it is open in a second. No rocket science!
