Amazon Customer –
So before my purchase, i read the reviews from 5 stars to 1 stars and viewed the images posted. I became hesitant to purchase but i had previously bought the cinnamon bun flavor at a vitaminshop and i was very satisfied. I decided to go with my gut feeling and purchase this flavor for i heard many great reviews and LET ME TELL YOU! It smells DELICIOUS. .
Now i posted the tub to show everyone how this might look like a rip off because it looks half empty BUT I WEIGHED IT and it’s exactly what you’re buying!!! The window strip for visibility is there for helpful tricks not to show the buyers it’s supposed to be completely full…i weighed the product and it does give me the 725g of protein it states, my scale indicates 880g only because it’s considering the weoght of the tub as well. It even says on the product “sold by weight not by volume”
IM VERY PLEASED! THANKS.

I tried dozens of whey. And it turns that price not always guarantees the best result (well, as with other products in this world).
What I do not like in this whey:
1. It stirs quite bad. I don’t use a shaker or a mixer – yep, I’m too lazy and just use a cup and a spoon – and it’s barely possible to get rid of lumps.
2. It smells not good
3. It tastes quite average.
I use Dymatize Casein, and it’s nearly perfect, but ISO is not that good:(
I don’t know if I’m allowed to publish my favorite brand here, which is way better both in taste, smell and stirring.
I’m happy that this can is just finished and I’m ordering my favorite one (black can, green and white text on it), and even though 2 lbs cost $40 (comparing to this $47/3 lbs), it’s really worth it
Q: Will you buy it again?
A:No, I will not.
Q: Would you recommend it to a friend?
A: No, I will not.
Q: Do you like other Dymatize products?
A: Yes, they have great products, it’s just ISO 100 Gourmet Chocolate is not my favorite
Have great workouts, folks!

This is seriously the best protein powder I’ve ever tried. How does it taste so good? I love this so much. All the flavors are amazing. It’s NOT too sweet like some reviewers said. If you’re used to flavorless protein then yeah your taste buds will be shocked at how good this is! I also love the fact that it’s hydrolyzed, I can really tell a difference between hydrolyzed and non-hydrolyzed protein after my workouts. I build muscle so much quicker. No it’s not a gimmick. Please make more flavors I will buy every single one!
Marco –
Great taste, lactose free, minimal fat and sugar. Add liquid vitamins, like Nature’s Way Alive, lactose free skim milk, LifeTime liquid D, and SCS Liquid Reviva Calcium for a delicious power shake. This makes for a fantastic workout shake, diet shake, or in my case, for the perfect post bariatric surgery supplement shake!
Aziz –
I really like the Dymatize Iso 100 protein powder, ever since I started using it, I have found that it is much easier for me to stay on track with my fitness and nutrition objectives more than before. I think that consuming protein supplements has received a lot of criticism in the past because people have actually done it in the wrong way, in a sense people think that it is essential to consumer protein alone to gain muscle, other think that it actually enhances weight loss. I loved this product because it actually helped adhere to my goals, and more important than that, I used it for the purpose it was designed to serve in the first place, as a supplement. The product itself is just a regular pure protein powdered isolate that comes in a variety of tastes and different sizes. Sizes range from one and a half pounds to five-pound tubs; they all look the same, with different flavors of which I prefer, Chocolate, Vanilla, and Peanut Butter. The reason why I actually love these flavors is because I can add them to a variety of foods that I consume on a daily basis making it less stressful for me to follow a sportsman stricit nutrition regiment. I use Iso 100 powder with my Oatmeal, Pancakes, Smoothies, and other baked items that I love to make from time to time, and also, I use it raw without any addition as a normal post-workout shake, and it also tastes great by itself. However, it’s flavor is just an external expectation about the validity of this product and it’s importance to me as a sports enthusiast, one of the least talked about subjects in both fitness and bodybuilding industries nowadays is the topic of digestibility. To me as a lactose intolerant person, I have suffered a lot through my entire life with such products, and dairy derived proteins that didn’t do me any benefit except bringing a lot of stomach pain and bloating to me. This issue is very relevant in the bodybuilding industry as most of the diets consist of high protein portions, sometimes from sources that are sensitive to some people such as dairy and eggs. Dymatize have actually solved this problem not only by stripping out all of the lactose and fat from the product, but actually adding digestive enzymes to the product to help the body utilize these high amounts of protein and use it in the right way. Another reason that would make me also support this product is the fact that it is actually faster to absorb than other protein products, the reason behind this is that it is pure protein without any trace carbohydrates or fats that disrupts the absorption and utilization process to trigger muscle protein synthesis (The scientific term used to describe the actual process of muscle building). But what comes as the jewel on the crown to me from this product is something else, the actual manufacturing process of this product involves (GMP) Good manufacturing practices, which is a term in the fitness industry that guarantees the right practices at the facility of production, as well as the wellbeing for the people who are responsible for delivering this product to as, not neglecting the two facts of keeping the environment safe and sane, and the product free of banned or suspicious ingredients. At last but not least the product is actually the best bang for the buck as it delivers for products of the same quality the cheapest serving of protein isolate as in grams per dollar.

For the past few years I have been a loyal customer of a competitor, but decided to give Dymatize ISO 100 Whey protein a try to switch things up. In general, the chocolate flavor is quite good. I usually ad a tablespoon of peanut butter with other supplements for my protein shake. Taste is on point and nutrition values compares to any other of the major supplement vendors. I would recommend this protein powder to people based on nutritional values and taste (chocolate). I give it a 4 of 5 stars due to the cost being a bit higher versus some competitors.
KT@AmazonFan –
I am so impressed with stuff! I can’t believe it has virtually no carbs, and tastes this great! I bought it for recipes, but haven’t gotten around to making anything yet. But, I have been putting it in unsweetened almond and cashew milk, and it is delicious! There is a slight sweetness to it, just the right amount. I was prepared to put sweetener in the drink, but when I tasted it, I didn’t need to. Sometimes I make it on the thick side and use it as my dessert. I highly recommend this product!
Jeremiah –
This protein is it, stop looking, buy it. This is insanely delicious! I’ve tried many proteins in the last 20 years and nothing I can remember tastes this great. It’s a little stronger on the peanut butter side, but so perfect. I love peanut butter so I don’t care. This reminds me of the reeses puffs cereal in that it has that fake reeses flavor, but still delivers and surprises.
I’ve tried the fruity pebbles flavor from Dymatize and it was pretty good in unsweetened almond milk, but falls flat in water. Flavor of that was close, but got old after a bit. I could never imagine getting tired of the chocolate peanut butter.
I’m not sure how to rate effectiveness, but I will say that in the last month when I combine this protein with BCAA’s daily, through workouts, and just sipping at work or home, I’ve never seen better results, ever. Bear in mind, I’m eating very clean and working HARD in the gym. But I feel like this “stack” has been tremendous for my building.
My “stack” is the following:
Mr. Hyde NitroX preworkout
Dymatize Chocolate peanut butter
Best BCAA’s fruit punch
Mens 1 a day vitamin
Fish oil pill
All of this has been working tremendous for me, and I feel like the protein has the biggest role in it.
Kristen Tan –
I like that it has a lot of protein and not a lot of sugar but the taste is not for me. I add half a banana, oat milk, avocado, and one scoop of this for my protein shake and it’s not the best tasting protein shake for me. It might be the other ingredients that just don’t work well with it but if anyone has better protein shake recipes, please let me know. I bought a huge bottle of it which was a mistake, I should have bought a smaller version since I have never tasted it before, but I don’t want to waste it. So please let me know what you add to your protein shakes with this powder.
CharlieP –
I would give this 5 stars but I only just started using it. Tastes Just like Fruity Pebbles milk! Blends very easy. Good value for the money. I’ve been using Dymatize Serious Mass for over a year with great results, but I switched to the whey protein because of day and cholesterol concerns. Nothing against Dymatize there, most of the weight gainer’s out there are close to 35% cholesterol per serving. That being said, I will update this post in a few months to reflect performance results
Lana H –
I typically don’t like protein powders and usually opt for the protein waters instead (same protein content, but not thick, and tastes better). I used to love fruity pebbles as a kid and decided to give this a shot… and I’m transported to being a kid eating my cereal on a Saturday morning!! I blended it with water but it’s still So delicious!! I like protein for meal replacements and this one is easy to blend (as you can see, I used a fork in a glass – which is the ultimate test! – and it blended well). I like that it’s hydrolyzed so it’s easier on the stomach and no bloating after drinking it!! Ironically, my cat is on a special hydrolyzed diet, which is how I’ve learned about the benefits of this specific blend. Haha! Such a great buy, and I’ll definitely be buying more!!
H. Tolley –
This review is for the Fruity Pebbles flavor. Dymatize ISO 100 has always been solid for ingredient quality and ease of blending even without a shaker ball. I purchased the Fruity Pebbles flavor as a joke for my workout partner but found that the flavor is _really_ good — it tastes just like fruit cereal in milk. Vanilla is also great, but there are many companies that make a solid vanilla. Not bitterness, not aftertaste, a perfect protein supplement!
Casey –
The flavor definitely tastes just like Fruity Pebbles! No weird aftertaste either. My only small complaint is that mixing one scoop with just 6oz of liquid (I use cashew almond milk blend) is a little unsatisfying in quantity (it did satisfy my hunger, just wham bam – done). I decided to try mixing the powder with 6oz of plain Greek yogurt instead, and it’s SO GOOD! It tastes like a treat and there’s a little more opportunity to savor the flavor.
@SchwartzReports –
This stuff is SO GOOD. I got the chocolate peanut butter. I mix one scoop with 6 ounces of milk, shake it up in my BlenderBottle with some ice, and enjoy. It doesn’t taste chemically at all; it’s just like a delicious peanut butter chocolate milkshake! Very low sugar and carbs, high protein, and helps keep me full. I used to use Syntha-6 but I think I’ve found a new champion. HIGHLY recommended!
EDIT, A FEW DAYS LATER: I just came back to reiterate how tasty this stuff is. Literally every time I have the first sip of a new shake (usually once a day), the first words out of my mouth are “Oh my God this is SO GOOD.” I gave some to a friend and he was instantly hooked and bought his own jug. Seriously I’m going to keep getting this one for the foreseeable future. Delicious!
HC –
I purchased the Fruit Pebbles flavor because why not? It sounded amazing! It’s definitely got smell of Fruity Pebbles, super spot on. The flavor is a good 4 out of 5, it tastes like Fruity Pebbles, but it also tastes like protein powder. I actually don’t make this as a drink, I mix it into cottage cheese. 10/10 would order again. I also plan to try Cocoa Pebbles to see if they taste like Cocoa Pebbles or if they just taste like generic chocolate protein.
Shuchen Chiang, Dennis Jow –
I used to get this product when the packaging was black, so it took me a while to find it again.
Pro: Low calories (110cal), low carb (1g) and high protein (25g) per serving compared to competitors with still very good taste. Minimal extra ingredients. Pricing very competitive (I purchased ~$40/3lb with coupon to try a new flavor, which was really good price point at ~$13.30/lb). Overall, easy to blend and no lumps/chunks after stirring or using shaker bottle.
Cons: Tried cookies and cream flavor this time and I think regular vanilla tasted better to me. Annoying thing though was there was no serving scooper in the 3lb cookies & cream container (my prior 5lb version had a scooper that came along with it).
Overall, highly recommended!!
RJJ –
In a lot of the reviews, it has people stating that Fruity Pebbles is sooo good and it’s the best flavor. I was skeptical. I stuck to other flavors…always getting tired of them after about a week…always having to add things to them just to tolerate them. But not Fruit Pebbles! It’s just like drinking the milk after a bowl of most fruity cereals. It never gets old. And when it’s cold, i can drink it all day if i had to. You could mix it in with your milk when you eat fruity cereals. At this point, i don’t plan on drinking any other flavor ever again.
Miranda –
I was really kinda scared to taste this. I mean, Fruity Pebbles Protein Shake??? A healthy version of my favorite sugar filled breakfast cereal??? Not to mention that I had to switch to Almond Milk recently, and I already knew I didn’t really care for that. But, I bought it anyways. I made one and tried really hard to get my husband or my daughter or anyone else to test it for me, but they refused. So, I took a deep breath and took a drink. Mind blown! Reminds me of drinking the milk after eating a bowl of Fruity Pebbles! And it doesn’t have that powder residue aftertaste that some protein shakes tend to have. I can have my sugar breakfast packed with protein, without the sugar and carbs! I’m thrilled! I’ll be buying the Cocoa Pebbles next.
Darian –
Overall, I’d say this is one of the best protein powders I’ve used. It has definitely helped me gain muscle while losing a bit of fat on the way. I’ve had 5 flavors so far: birthday cake, cinnamon bun, gourmet chocolate, choco peanut butter cup, and strawberry. All flavors have varying quality. I’ll break it down below!
– Birthday cake was way too sweet but it was pretty tasty. Mixed well and can’t go wrong with it.
– Cinnamon Bun mixed well too and tasted like milk mixed with cinnamon toast crunch seasoning. The flavor was a bit overpowering and not to my liking but it was not that bad.
– Gourmet chocolate was the most neutral of them all. The taste was probably its biggest advantage as it is usually hard to go wrong with chocolate. Mixes well!
– Choco peanut butter cup tasted more like straight peanut butter. At first I disliked it but after a few days it grew on me and I did not mind the flavor. Mixes well but I did find some weird residue in it.. also some days my chest would feel weird when drinking it. I would not say to steer away from this flavor since it was probably just an unlucky batch. Mixes well!
– Strawberry is my most recent purchase. It was the cheapest of them all for the 5lb tub ($51 vs the usual $66). I read reviews of the strawberry not mixing well and having a weird taste. I can agree to the mixing aspect of the negative reviews as it does not break down well at all. I did find today after my workout that if you mix it and then add it to the fridge for a bit, and mix it later again it broke down evenly. I mixed/placed my shake in the fridge in between my main workout/ab workout and it worked wonders. The taste is actually my favorite. The after taste isn’t pleasant but you get used to it!
After my current tub runs out, I will not be using Dynamatize anymore due to other protein brands having similar quality and better competitive pricing. Dynamatize was my most used protein powder but I realized I go through a 5lb tub monthly which eventually had me seek out a new powder. I highly recommend Dynamatize though! It’s helped me gain a lot of muscle which I find difficult due to my genetics/body structure.
I should also mention that when I was deployed in the middle east, Dynamatize was hugely popular, often flying off the shelves the day it arrives at my base. Judging by that, it must be worth using!
Selena C. –
I can’t say enough good things about this protein powder! I have tried multiple ones before this and I’m always disappointed. I’m especially not a chocolate flavor kinda person and typically go for more vanilla based, so I knew I had to try the birthday cake flavor. Let me tell you, it’s been life changing! It’s the right amount of sweet and you can’t even tell you’re drinking protein powder. Not to mention, the macros are phenomenal on this one. Please buy!
Sarah –
I have mixed feelings about this protein powder. I’ve tried the fudge brownie and the orange flavors. I found both to be overly sweet but I don’t have a big sweet tooth in general, so they might be fine for others. Both flavors were still drinkable though and not bad, just not up my alley. That said I also have not tried another brand in years so the taste might be comparable to others. One reason I chose this brand was that reviews said it was easy on the stomach (I have nausea issues sometimes) and I would have to agree. I never had issues there. The powder also dissolves well; I typically just mix it with water. I’ve found that if I put it in a water bottle and add a couple ice cubes and shake, it dissolves really well. So overall even if the taste isn’t my personal favorite it’s a solid product.
Jacob –
This powder is great, mixes easily, and tastes great depending on the flavor. For reference, I mix it with unsweet soy milk. Here’s the flavors I’ve tried from best to worst.
The chocolate peanut butter flavor is probably the best tasting powder I’ve ever tried. Tastes exactly like drinking a butterfinger bar. Not overly sweet to me either, and with the peanut butter balancing out the flavor I can pretty much drink it every day without getting tired of it.
The gourmet chocolate is a great chocolate flavor. Compared to Optimum Nutrition Gold double rich chocolate, it’s sweeter and richer, but that also makes it easier for me to get tired of it. Great at first, but for daily drinking I still prefer the more muted and less sweet chocolate flavor of Optimum Nutrition’s powder.
Unfortunately the cinnamon bun flavor is absolutely disgusting and currently holds the title of the worst tasting powder I’ve ever tried. Way, way too sweet. Painfully sweet. And I mix my shakes pretty thin, with about double the amount of liquid they recommend. I cannot imaging what this would taste like at recommended concentration. I bought a small sized container of this flavor after seeing another review compare the taste to horchata, and after trying it I really don’t agree. Even looking past the intolerable sweetness, it’s definitely more savory, like an actual cinnamon bun, than horchata.
If it wasn’t for the cinnamon bun flavor, I probably would have given this powder five stars. It’s actually quite puzzling to me, because I cannot imagine any company actually making a powder that tastes so incredibly bad. And some of the reviews say they love it, but a lot of them also agree with me, so maybe it was recently reformulated? Or maybe it was a bad batch, either improperly mixed or with too much sweetener, that is the source of all the bad cinnamon bun reviews. Or maybe there’s some yet-unknown genetic variance that makes some people like it, while making it intolerable for others. Your guess is as good as mine.

Ive been trying Proteins for years. I use to get sick off of nearly every single one. A few even made me pass out. When i stumbled upon Dymatize it was 6 years ago. I saw fudge brownie in their old elite mass gainer. I fell in love from there.
I take their super mass gainer in rich chocolate every day and have seen great results. The tastes is always great.
Since they discontinued Elite Mass, i switched to Iso for an post workout. Their chocolate and vanilla are okay, not the best flavor. But, still better than other companies.
THEN they released the god of all Flavors: Fruity Pebbles. I HANDS DOWN was so blown away. Never, ever ever ever ever, have i tasted a protein that is so amazing. I stood there is complete shock just taking that first sip. It tastes like Fruity Pebbles. Just like that cereal milk left behind. This is a 10 out of 5 star rating. It doubles the star count. I am bowing down to Dymatize as the King of Flavored Proteins.
I swear up and down buy it or try it if you can. You will not regret this flavor.
Ivy and Claire's Mom –
I hate shakes. But I’ve got 10 lbs to go and I’m a tiny human to begin with so I’m meeting with a nutritionist who is going to help me lose the weight with out losing too much muscle. Unfortunately, part of it is going to mean extra protein AND for my life style, that means shakes which are disgusting and I hate. But food is fuel so, I’m in.
This is by far the least disgusting shake Ive ever had. I got the chocolate fudge. It’s ok. I think it might be really good mixed with cold Brew coffee which I will try as soon as I can get to a store and buy cold Brew coffee.
I took one Star off because it is really hard to mix. I used a have held milk frother, beast the crap out of it for a full 5 minutes and it was still clumpy. But it tasted ok. I can live with it.
Update (the very next day): upgraded to 5 stars. Mixes beautifully into cold Brew coffee and tastes like a mocha. Highly recommend. I hated shakes before, now I feel like I’m cheating.
Nick Hollerauer –
Before I got this, I’d been using a cheap-o product from Sam’s Club that cost me around $45 for 5 lbs, and honestly I absolutely dreaded drinking it. I would mix it with water and choke it down as fast as I could to avoid tasting the sub-par flavor and feeling the undissolved lumps of powder slither down my throat as much as possible. Feeling a need for something better, I did some research and this stuff (the Dymatize powder) was recommended by a couple of websites for their high-quality flavors, and I decided that buying something that I actually enjoyed drinking would be worth the extra twenty bucks, so I gave it a shot…and…I will never go back. I got the fudge brownie flavor, and I almost immediately knew it would be better just from the simple fact that it actually completely dissolved in the water. I was quite happy to see that there weren’t a bunch of globs of undissolved goo floating around in it after a modest amount of shaking, and it is very smooth to drink – maybe just the barest hint of grittiness but that could be the fact that I didn’t shake it enough. The real star of the show, however, is the flavor. Unlike the other stuff I was using, this powder tastes absolutely delicious. In my opinion, both flavor and texture-wise the fudge brownie tastes EXACTLY like drinking powdered cocoa, and it’s excellent. I now look forward to my protein shake. Rather than just choking down the entire thing as fast as possible to avoid the taste and texture, I savor each sip, and I’m even a little sad when it’s gone. I am very impressed and very happy I spent the extra cash to get such a high-quality product. Oh, and upon receipt (since it came up so often in other reviews), I insured the container was sealed (it was), the container was full (it was), I looked for signs of bugs (none that I could see, but I’ll keep an eye out), and I placed it on a scale that rated it at 5.2lbs, so everything seems to be in order on the quality assurance side of things. All in all, very good product, high amount of protein, low carbs, low calories, and the flavor is spot on. What’s not to like? I think I’m just going to throw my old stuff out and drink this from now on.
A Reviewer –
Limited Edition Chocolate Caramel is delicious! I will be stocking up and also hoping they keep this flavor permanently. I did not find this flavor to be as overly sweet as other ISO-100 flavors, Birthday Cake for example.
Brandon Clark –
I very rarely write reviews for Amazon products, but felt like I had to for this protein powder. I’ve found my brand, and I’m gonna shout it from the rooftops.
Just to give you the TL;DR about the protein quality itself; it’s good. That’s really all you need to know, it’ll do what you want it to.
Now as for the flavor/consistency of the shake (I ordered PB Chocolate), I think it’s the best of ALL the protein powders I’ve tried, including the high carb ones. This one is easily the best tasting and best feeling shake I’ve had. It blends up really nice in a blender or a blender bottle, and the taste is phenomenal. I’m genuinely excited to have my shake after my workout now, they captured the Reese’s Cup flavor phenomenally and it blows my mind that there’s only 1 gram of sugar in these shakes. Whether you use water or milk, the consistency of the shake is very thick which I’m a big fan of. I am coming from Isopure which had the pretty gross issue of being so watery that you could see the protein suspending from the liquid within seconds of blending it together. This hits the nail for me.
The one thing I will say (not really a negative, just want it to be known) is that I tried the shake with both water and coconut milk, and when you mix it with water I find the sweetness to be a lot more muted and the peanut butter flavor to taste more artificial, but it’s still GREAT either way. I was a bit worried when I saw the other reviews mentioning bugs/bits of plastic in their powder, but that definitely isn’t the case for me. From what I’ve read these are more so issues with your tub being mishandled during delivery/in the warehouse, so always make sure that your tub gets delivered with the air tight seal on top being COMPLETELY sealed. If not, return it and get another.
Price is good, flavor is phenomenal, consistency is HECKATHICC and my gains are BOOMING. BUY THIS BROTEIN NOW.

I thought I was not going to be able to take protein powder until I found Dymatize ISO 100 Whey Protein Powder. I am a 62 year old man that wanted a supplement to help with my workouts but, wasn’t having much luck. All the others gave me weird intestinal issue or, in the case of the vegan powder, tasted horrible. At the risk of giving too much information, other Whey Powders, even the powders advertised as isolates, gave me gas and diarrhea. I am so happy with this product. Just visited my brother and he noticed how big my arms are now. I have tried the chocolate, which is not bad but, my go-to is the vanilla with fruit. I buy frozen blueberries or strawberries and mix them in to the smoothie. This is my breakfast every day and I love it. Side Note: I also make sure I rinse the frozen fruit since it too can cause issues if not rinsed even if it says its pre-washed!

We love this protein. We’ve tried several brand of whey protein and have settled on this one. We have tried this in both chocolate and vanilla I highly recommend both. The vanilla we mix into our smoothies and it gives a healthy added boost of protein to a fruit smoothie. The chocolate we normally just mix with water but it taste like a chocolate milkshake. Hope this review was helpful let me know if you have any questions!

This is the good stuff. I have tried the Strawberry and the Gourmet Chocolate. Both are excellent. The wife and I mix ours with water and some MCT oil for keto. The wife said the Gourmet Chocolate was the best chocolate protein she’s had. She’s trying the Strawberry for the first time today. I am sure she will love it. I have issues with standard whey so we get the isolate and I don’t have any problems.

Luv this stuff! It tastes incredible despite there’s little to no sugar in it. Also, it has no wonky bitter taste afterward, easy to mix in the blender or hand shaken in a bottle. What made this product stand out above all the protein powders on the market and a huge plus about this product….NO gassy side effects or bloating!!!

I’ve had a protein shake for breakfast for about 15 years now. So you can imagine how many I’ve tried. This is absolutely the best formula I’ve ever used. Super low carbs and only 1 gram of sugar. Mixes like a dream and is so smooth and creamy. I mix it with unsweetened protein enriched flaxmilk. My favorite flavor is the peanut butter. Absolutely a 5 star product! Delicious! And somehow this formula curbs sweet cravings.

A little backstory:
I couldn’t figure out why my tummy was always so gross feeling after working out. I had the bubbles, the gurgles, the groans… sometimes gastrointestinal distress that could clear a barn. It was… unfriendly. Little did I know, some powders don’t mix well with Acid Reflux. So I went looking for a gentler, GERD-friendly complex that most importantly, could not contain almonds. I came across Dymatize… and cake?
Fast forward: I’ve been using this product for a month now, and I cannot… CANNOT get over how great it is!
There’s no chalky taste, it smells heavenly, it absorbs beautifully, and it’s really versatile. Best of all– no more GI issues!
I’m all about trying the cinnabun mix next!
It can have a few chunks, so if you’re a texture person, put it in your shaker cup and mix letting it sit for about 30 mins before adding your blender ball in. Unlike other formulas, I’ve found this has fixed the small clumps.
Also, I don’t always need the full amount so I use a shaker cup and either 1/2 scoop with 6oz of 1% milk or a whole scoop in 9 oz of milk. For a fun treat, I put some in a little chocolate milk and it’s a party!
Listen, if other protein powders bother your tummy, try this! I promise you won’t be disappointed!

I have searched on and off for years for a protein shake, I have tried quite a few, even Vegan (which I found unpleasant) and this is the first one that has not caused me any GI discomfort at all. I have been drinking a shake every night for a week as a replacement for dinner after I exercise (so much easier then cooking). I am so happy. I use 1 scoop chocolate peanut powder, 6oz. fat free lactose free milk, 1/2 a banana and, a hand full of raw spinach and in my Ninja blender and it taste amazing. I look forward to it every night after exercising. FINALLY I can take part in the protein drink plan. Though it seems pricey, it breaks down to $1.30 per serving, you can not even buy a candy bar that cheap today. Thank You Dymatize!

I am competing for an upcoming show so I switched from your standard whey to an isolate. I wanted something more pure since I am dialing in my physique. I found that most isolates are more expensive and vary in ingredients. Dymatize ISO 100 chocolate peanut butter tastes great, is free of extra chemicals, and you get more for your money. I highly recommend it if you are competing, otherwise stick to the standard whey and save your money. Dymatize puts out great products and now they have a new consumer!

After going through two bags of vile tasting protein from another manufacturer, I decided to try a 1.6 lb can of ISO 100 in Orange Dreamsicle. So far, I’ve only mixed it with water and ice in a shaker bottle and I have to say, this is the best tasting Whey protein I’ve ever tasted. There’s no laboratory or “Whey” taste from this protein, it tastes exactly like….well, an Orange Dreamsicle ice cream pop.
Next to MHP’s Max Whey in the milk chocolate flavor, I give the Dymatize ISO 100 in orange dreamsicle a perfect 5/5 as far as flavor, texture, and ease of blending. I will definitely be buying another tub of ISO 100 again when I’m done with this one!

Great protein! I’ve been using Dymatize for approximately 1.5 years to support strength sports (powerlifting). I’ve built a solid foundation of lean muscle mass during the time I’ve been taking it, and it really makes a difference while recovering between workouts. It’s helped me meet my macros while cutting 40 lbs of body weight.
The flavours I’ve tried have been very good (gourmet chocolate, chocolate peanut butter, fudge brownie, cookies & cream). Gourmet vanilla and birthday cake were a little too sweet after a few days. But, the lighter non-chocolate flavors have a little bit better nutrition stats (83% protein by weight per serving vs 80%). The nutritional content meets what I want either way.
I mix 1 scoop (30-32 g) with 6 fl oz of water and mix in a shaker cup. It mixes really easy, no clumps or lumps of unmixed powder. It’s thinner than the cheaper stuff you can find in grocery stores. I prefer it thin. Maybe mixing with milk can make it more substantial if that’s your preference, but I don’t necessarily drink this to enjoy it, ya know?
Yeah, the scoop is included and it’s always been near the top for me, from the 1.6-lb tubs to the 5-lb one.
Out of all the flavors I’ve tried, not one has caused any digestive issues or cramping. If fact, it goes down really smooth. If anything, it makes you full faster.
I wish they had a set of a few of their flavors in sample sizes.
UPDATE 08 DECEMBER 2019: Tried strawberry flavor. It does not mix as well as the others I’ve tried. Very clumpy, especially when mixed with anything other than water. Taste is good, definitely strawberry. Just make sure you mix/shake VERY well.
