I am a huge fan of Castile soaps. But they always leave my skin dry. So I was excited to purchase this Brand because it has shae butter. Would have been five stars but I didn’t enjoy the almond scente as much as other brands.

Nice big bottle. Haven’t used it yet. I ran out of my refill soap and decided to get something gentle. Winters here in the east coast dry out skin. My husband likes the smell of almonds, so this will be perfect for the cooler weather.
Holly Schimpf –
So far really like it. Leaves skin and hair feeling very nice.

Great product , more smooth than a stripers skin in a friday night

As far as cleansing and moisturizing the product works as expected. As noted by other reviewer, however, the fragrance is beyond a subtle fruity almond smell and is closer to a cherry air freshener. It doesn’t linger in the skin much after use but I found it overwhelming while in the shower. I’ll use this brand again, but I’ll avoid this variety.

Yes! Very nicely scented. Helps with eczema and keeps it at bay. Scent is nice but light. Skin feels moisturized after showering. Also great as hand wash liquid. I love their stuff! Especially gonna to tell them this when I go to their restaurant SYLVIA’S in New York again! Soul food here I come!

If you like the smell of Almonds, you will love this soap!! Very good for washing off the worst oils and grunge of of hands especially if you are a gardener or have concerns about Covid-19. Hands always feel squeeky clean without being dried out.

For my family of five…. We have several skin issues like eczema on my 5 yr old son, sensitive skin and skin allergies on my 8 yr old daughter, diabetic skin condition and psoriasis on my elderly mother…. This soap is used for all over ,head to toe usage for all of us. While my kids prefer me to add a lil more scent to theirs, the rest of us use it the way it comes.

I had been using Dr Bonner Almond – Just received the Almond and Shea butter 32oz size 2-pack and immediately impressed with first pour, I’m sold – From here out will be using Dr Woods 2 -pack Almond -Shea Castile soap.
Seriously – excellent price and excellent product – I’m a new customer! Great scent! Not such a runny liquid as the ones I had been using. Just right. If you like Castile soap and an almond scent with Organic Shea butter, this is Worth giving a try.

Soap is very good. But the smell of almonds is very strong. It is difficult to smell the essential oils that I like to put in the soap

Really like the scent and cleansing properties.

Good Castile soap

i’m allergic to the sulfates in soaps, that’s why i use this. the almond smell is light or goes away if it sits too long. it cleans well, and doesn’t dry my skin – be sure to get the SHEA BUTTER version though, or it will dry you out. i buy these in bulk so i have it for the year. the only downside is that the bottle is big, and gets slippery in the shower, and i usually drop it at least once.

Love the Dr Woods almond CASTILLE soap. I make foaming hand wash, detergent and more using it. Very mildly scented not overpowering. Priced reasonably for bottle size. Try it you’ll like it!

It was hard to find hand soap in stores, so I decided to try Dr. Woods soap. I was hoping for a good soap I could use to refill all my hand soap pumps with that would also smell nice and help keep the Corona-induced anxiety at bay, and this stuff WORKS! Not only does it work very well as a hand soap (doesn’t dry out my skin or leave a weird film), its scent is glorious. If you have to wash your hands more often than you’re used to, get a soap that you adore the smell of! I smile every time I use it! Highly recommended!

I’ve been using Dr. Woods for many years! Great Product with Great Results and Beautiful Skin!

It’s a little too strong to be used on it’s own, it dries out the skin quite a bit! (I definitely don’t recommend using as a face wash on it’s own, it burned and made my whole face red). It has a very strong smell, which I liked, though I can see it being far too much for others. It has a nice medium thick viscosity (Dr. B’s is a little too thin for me). I added some tea tree oil, melted coconut oil, and vitamin e oil and made my own hand soaps with it.
For dishwashing, it didn’t work quite as well but it’s definitely useable! I didn’t mind, though some other things clean a bit better.

AWESOME PRODUCT!! We have been using this soap for years. We switched from Dr Bonner’s due to their price increase. It lathers up well and rinses clean. I have read a few negative reviews about the almond scent being too strong. I have to disagree!! The scent is not strong at all. I use it on my skin and hair and both smell clean with no lingering smell. If you use Dr Bonner’s DON’T be afraid to switch! The only thing you will miss is the extra price you paid!

I have used other brands of Castille soap. Dr. Woods is a great option. With two bottles, I should not need to purchase again for months. I primarily use this product for hand and dish soap. I dilute the product at least 2:1 with water. The almond scent is good.

recently company stated it smelled awesome. Love that it is non toxic!

One of my favorite Castile soaps is the almond scent. It’s got a nice generous sent. I buy this all the time. Although there is one thing that I do not like about it is you cannot just put it in a soap dispenser without it splashing all over you. It is too watery for a soap dispenser.
LindsayH. –
Nice soap.
Thicker than Bronners.
Still too drying on my skin, as coconut oil soaps do to my skin, although my husband and son can used it without any drying issues.
lakerman34 –
I’ve been getting this body soap for a while now, and I swear, whatever they are doing differently it actually smells better?!?
People that come stay overnight that use it almost always, without fail, compliment the soap.
I’m an avid customer/fan!

This almond soap is so soothing to my hands. My hands had become dry and cracked from washing them a lot. They are soft and smooth after only a week of using Dr Woods Almond Castile Soap.

I use this for shower gel and it is outstanding. The scent is that lovely almond cherry smell yummy it doesn’t last long. I have very sensitive skin and not problem. Price is right I also use the Tea Tree that is also wonderful in the shower.
Daisy –
I love the way this product makes my skin feel after showering. It makes me feel nice and clean but my skin is not dry at all. I wished it would foam just a little more but I would definitely buy this again in a different scent. The almond smells strongly and it smells like the almond extract used for baking. The smell does wear off a couple hours after showering but I just don’t care for it.
Holly Schimpf –
I mix it with some coconut milk to wash my hair. Very nice. Also use it for my body. Don’t seem to have dry skin from it.
