Dr. Bronner’s soap seems to be thinner than in the past, but I’ve been using it for many years and find it to be the best soap for me. It suds up well and cleans very well ( I use the Tea Tree soap) and also rinses well. My skin is sensitive to chemicals and Dr. Bronner’s soap does not cause irritation. Highly recommended.

Okay, first the smell is not like I expected, but I can and will get use to it. I know it’s the Castile part of the soap.
I was recommended Dr. Bronner’s for a skin condition that gets out of control at times. Talk about lather…OMG…just a small amount and I had more suds than I had with a generous amount of some of the other pricey name brands. Once I rinsed off the lather, I felt clean and I smelled clean. Not medicinal or perfumey, just clean. Now if it helps me feel better with my skin condition…I will say it’s perfect. But that will take some time, right now I’m just happy with the beginning feels from the soap.

I don’t go a day without using Dr. Bronner’s Tea Tree soap. It is the first remedy that I have found to be effective in treating my skin. A few years ago I suddenly began having outbreaks on my face every couple of months as well as rashes. After many miserable skin infections I made sure to bathe with antibacterial soap which unfortunately leaves the skin VERY dry and irritated. I am so thankful that I came across this soap….it has saved my skin! It took only a few weeks of every day use to notice my skin clearing up. I use it every day while showering, applying to my face and over my entire body. I happen to love the smell of this soap, however it is a strong odor of tea tree which some may be turned off by. I have bought about 5 bottles so far… a little bit goes a long way. Last month I ran out before ordering more and it took only 2 days for my skin to start breaking out again. This is an absolute necessity for me. I strongly suggest for anyone with any type of skin issues. Also works great as a foot soak!

I bought this product because my family was experiencing itchy scalp and buildup from hard water, we’d tried hundreds of clarifying and chelating shampoos and nothing worked. This product fixed our problem by the second use. The scent of Tea Tree oil is strong when in the shower but quickly dissipates. We found that our skin is much softer and free of tiny bumps that are associated with hard water. I have a family of 5 so this bottle will last us a good long time. I would suggest getting a pump, the product is very thin and pours easily from the bottle.

Dr. Bronner’s is like a magical potion, it does it all. It’s not as thick as I thought it would be, but it’s very concentrated – doesn’t take much to do the job. I love this stuff, I mostly use it in the shower – I wash my face with it when I’m having a breakout and it helps clear my face up, I wash my hair with it when I’m having bad dandruff and the flakes and itchiness go away, I wash my dog with it when her skin is irritated and it helps her too. Leaves a very clean feeling. I’ve used it as a bubble bath, but DONT PUT ALOT – the Tea Tree cooling/burning sensation was too much for my sensitive skin. It can also dry my face out if I’m using it too much, so I try not to wash my face with it every day. But overall highly recommended!

I love using this product.
Pros:
1. Clears up acne
2. A little goes a long way so it can last you a long time!
Cons:
1. Extremely watery (But still a little goes a long way because of this)
2. Dries out your skin, so I use it once a day and I take breaks in between. When my skin feels like it’s drying out I don’t use it for most 2 Days. I just wash with my other night time face wash and then I moisturize.

I have fair skin and for years used the Dove Bar for Sensitive Skin. Apparently that’s not really soap. And my eczema just got worse as I got older anyway. This stuff is somewhat drying, but that can be corrected with a little moisturizer. Dry skin hasn’t been a problem at all. Otherwise it does it exactly what everyone here has said it does: ameliorates skin conditions like acne, eczema, etc. Highly highly recommended.

I took a page from grandmother’s book on this product. I was getting my house ready to sell & wanted a natural cleanser for many different surfaces. This cleaned the bathroom tiles & porcelain like crazy!! So shiny, everything looked brand new. You need a little elbow grease to wipe it off – I recommend a microfiber towel. You’ll get unbelievable shine!! Same for the kitchen. Just don’t use it on stainless appliances. My realtor asked if I had a professional cleaner. Well sort of – nothing like castile soap. A small amount with water goes a very long way. Totally Recommend!

I use this as face wash. Just a tiny drop or two with a bit of water makes a great foaming cleanser that removes my makeup (including mascara) and leaves my face feeling and looking clean and clear. Since beginning this a few months ago, I have not had a single blemish and my skin is firmer and softer. I was spending nearly $40 for another organic face cleanser–I can’t believe I wasted all that time and money when the best product was right here all along.
*It took a bit getting used to as the smell and the astringency of it can be a bit much at first, but stick with it! My mother recently visited and said my skin hadn’t looked this good since in thirty years! Now she’s loving it, too!
Tasha –
This stuff is amazing!!! I literally received it yesterday and immediately start using it. I woke up the next morning and my skin is clearer than it been in almost a year! I diluted it quite a bit like recommended. I also bought an Aloe Vera leaf, cut it open and put it on my face after cleansing and moisturizing. You’ll need to moisturize with this product.

Fantastic for your skin! Really has become a strong part of my skincare routune (I do use a number of other products), this has helped reduce my acne scars as well as prevented more breakouts from appearing. Make sure to scrub thouroughly with a loofah in circular motions, product doesnt do as much if you dont take a good bit of time with each part of your body.

I have been using Bonner’s Tea Tree Pure-Castile Liquid Soap for more than a decade. I use it every day. When I ordered it here on Amazon I glanced down at the reviews and saw that someone said it smelled like kerosene. Tea Tree scent isn’t for everyone, I thought. Well, I have to say that this time, this product actually DID smell a bit like kerosene. Something has definitely changed. I have noticed the color variations over the years but it didn’t seem to affect the quality. This time it seems like somebody, somewhere, allowed some sub-par materials through the process. I’ve been very happy with this Bonner’s over the years, so I’m hoping that this was a one time thing. But, I will also be open to finding another source if this a continuing problem. Sad.

I have used the product for my face, cleaning, and body so far! It is extremely strong and I would highly recommend diluting! Some places said you could just squirt a little and use but it was too much for my skin which is sensitive. I got an empty travel size bottle then filled with 1/3 product and rest water which has been working great for my face! I also filled empty spray bottle with about 1/4 of product and rest water for cleaning which had been perfect. This product has really been helping me clear my skin, smells good, and you don’t need much!

My all time fave! <3 DR bronners soap is the best Castile soap man! So glad I discovered this product!
I was suffering from ugly red bumps and pimples in my groin area and in my butt skin. They were very painful. My body wash was Dove Nutrium(dark blue one) and sometimes dove sensitive. After ONLY 3 days of using Dr bronners tea tree Castile soap (day/night), All the ugly large pimples disappeared and only left the scars. I can deal with the scars. However, the most important thing of all is that THEY LEFT FOR GOOD! <33
I am bumps/pimples free. And this is the only thing I changed from my regular routine. I’m so happy.
I suffered from acne too, so I ditched my regular face wash, and changed to this! And I couldn’t have felt so happy about these changes! NOW my skin and whole body is thanking me! <3
This has been the best decision ever I have made in my life!

I have autoimmune diseases and my skin itches constantly. THIS is wonderful for the itchiest skin. The scent is very strong but I don’t care. I’m not scratching all day and I don’t have to take Benadryl and fall asleep. I can’t say enough about this stuff. I love all Dr Bronner’s items!!
Audrea –
At this point, I’ve pretty much ditched all other natural hair and skin products. As a 4C natural, I could easily spend $500+ each year on various shampoos, conditioners, and body washes from Shea Moisture, Cantu, Taliah Wahid, and the other big names. It seems like the more “natural” a product is, the higher the price.
Lately, I’ve been using Dr. Bronner’s Castile Soap w/ Peppermint as a natural body wash and the Castile w/ Tea Tree as a shampoo (with coconut, jamaican black castor, and a few other essential oils mixed in). I’ll still do the occassional deep condition, but I mainly just do a hot oil treatment after washing my locs. Dr. Bronner’s leaves my hair and skin tingly fresh and I don’t have to worry about what I’m really putting into my pores!
QueenDoc –
It’s cleaning capabilities are not in question, and the scent is potent but it is so horribly drying for my skin that I get itchy after each use. My partner doesn’t feel dry but doesn’t love it as much as the last tea tree body wash I got us so when it’s gone we’re switching back.
Works great to add the scent and the antimicrobial benefits of tea tree as an additive to your laundry soap and the smell is long lasting so I highly recommend it there.
SherBear –
My favorite is the lavender or the unscented baby Dr. Bronner’s Castile Soap. The tea tree doesnt have the best smell but it does have the additional germ fighting power that the other two scents do not have. I use tea tree mixed with the citrus scent to make homemade laundry soap along with cap fulls of Thieves Household Cleaner. It is magical laundry soap that literally takes out every stain and stinky smell out of all our clothes!
Just looking –
I’m just so into Tea Tree … this certainly smells like Tea Tree. Everything dries my skin. My skin is like a sponge. So my written word on moisrurizing won’t count.
However after a refreshing shower I have to be sure to use my diy body cream packed full of body oils that completes the spa shower.
This soap requires a pretty high dilution use yet, there are times you want to hit straight out of the bottle. It’s recommended use for home, dishes ?, appliances, bathroom & laundry! I used to only use the peppermint soap. On to Lavender each was very good the peppermint actually makes your skin tingle.
Great for morning showers … the hint of peppermint remains. I’ll check back with how I’m doing with the Tea Tree soap. My next soap is 1). almond. 2). Citrus.

So I used this to make my own face wash. I mixed it with tea tree oil, almond oil, aloe vera gel, and purified water. I have these soft exfoliating rubber face scrubbers that I actually ordered off here too. I wet my face with hot water to open my pores and put the mixture on the face scrubber and then scrub my face and omg its soo refreshingggg! Idk if it’s because I mixed it with other oils but it makes my face tingle but not like a burning sensation more like a refreshing tingle. It lathers really well and the smell is subtle and nice. I have really sensitive skin so I only use natural products on my face and it felt so clean afterwards, not to mention I didn’t have a reaction or even get a little red. A little goes a long way I feel like this 32oz is going to last me a really long time. I might try it to shave and see how it does with ingrown hairs.

My least favorite “flavor/scent” so far. This is definitely not for those with already dry skin. The scent is strong so if I chose to shower with this, it would be at night. Mostly used this to wash my face, even diluted its super harsh and very drying. Wish I could return. So unfortunate thats its such a huge bottle. Maybe ill use it to do pedicures on muself

I bought this product to help control a persistent fungal infection in my feet. I had used other products with tea tree oil that cost twice as much for the same amount.
I’ve used this in my hair to help protect against scalp infections… it leaves my hair feeling soft and easy to comb.
I also use it with a brush to get between my toes and the bottom of my feet.
It has a strong “Pine-sol” type scent which some people won’t like, but I don’t know how to avoid it considering the contents.
The only thing I would change was to make it a little thicker so it doesn’t flow through the brush and out the bottom when I apply it.

I’ve been using various types of Dr. Bronner’s soap for years. While it is more expensive than the chemical concoctions available at your local store, your health is worth it. I use this tea tree soap as a body wash for my daily shower. I have previously used other scents (the almond is decadent) but I’ve settled on this variety because tea tree is both antifungal and antibacterial. In addition to a body wash, I lather it up and use it for shaving cream. Less crap in the shower is better imo but given the number of products my wife has in the shower, she would likely disagree.

This was my first time trying oil based soap. I was in the market for something that would act as an anti-bacterial agent as well so it would need to include Tea Tree Oil. This was the perfect product! The bottles come in huge sizes which is great since you won’t be using much anyway. There’s no buildup in the bottle, but there is a strong odor. The bottle is nice and sturdy as well.
I combined this with an exfoliating glove for maximum effect. Just a few drops will last you long enough to wash your entire body. I found that other liquid soaps dried up on the gloves or were used up after a mere minute and I would constantly have to reapply the soap, but Dr. Bronner’s concoction stayed on the entire shower with just a few drops! I also seemed to be cleaner as well. The smell doesn’t cling to you nor do you really have to dilute it as it says. I simply put a few drops on the glove, sprinkle some drops of water to get it foamy and I’m good to go.
As always look at the ingredients and make sure you aren’t allergic to them. As some users noted they have had skin irritation problems, but I haven’t had those issues.

this is my holy grail product, if i could only use one beauty skin care item for the entire rest of my life it would be this. I’ve read so many product reviews claiming that it cleared up their acne and i’d laugh, but this seriously did for me. it stings at first but after a few weeks all the acne scars faded and i have baby skin now, i rarely get pimples anymore and im not nearly as oily. it just has such strong antibacterial properties and coconut oil alone is amazing for the skin but it clogs pores over time if used alone, i think the minimal presence in this product is the perfect balance i needed. honestly just try it.

I won’t go into any embarrassing details about why I bought it. I will say that this powerful soap will rid the human body of most superficial infections, resilient parasites, and longstanding suffering. Excellent as a shampoo, face soap, foot soap, and for all serially unclean nooks and crannies. Before you throw in the towel, try this miracle soap —- use as directed because it packs a wallop!

I LOVE dr.bronners for everything ? my husband had terrible dandruff. We were introduced to the peppermint soap. I loved that one so much I bought the tea tree soap and I bought a dandruff brush off of amazon as well. That combination together has made his amazing! The bottle is huge and a little goes a long way so he will have this for a long time!

Oh my gosh, my 13 year old has real bad acne. We got this soap after spending hundreds of dollars on Acne medicines this soap and efforts from him washing three times a day is working wonderfully, I recommend it. But like kids do you have to be there when they scrub their face or do it for them, this product works after ten days OMG, cleaning up acne, white heads, black heads, red bumps, I am really happy I found this product on Amazon. A little goes a long way! Try if you dont believe me and I am sure there is a or some kind of money back. We are on our second bottle, because we shared it with a neighbor kid who has the same similarity to our child.
