Smells delicious and feels so fresh and clean!
Ruth Boncorddo –
I love this soap and won’t use anything else. Use to use the peppermint scented one, but it can feel too tingly on certain body parts.
Steve –
If you are sensitive to most soaps then try this product. It lathers very well, smells great, and cleans without being harsh.
Jack Rogers –
I have been using Dr. Bronner’s soap for decades. It fits my need in quality and price.
Tiger Wong –
I have tried different scent of Dr Bronner’s liquid soap, Citrus is my favourite.
Also recommended my friends that have long time skin problem. He uses it and love it without any issue with the product. Also the skin problem he has gradually improved.
Recommned my mum to use, love it.
Wish they could consider Rosemary, Lemon scent
Cherron Holmes –
The fresh Citrus senti is for hair & bathing. Also try a warm 30 min soak or longer. This not just clear it (Really Truly Sheet)! The versatility of Dr Bonner’s used is formidable. Do searches. Be Creative. Relax & I joy
Mark MacK –
I’ve been using this stuff for 20 years. I prefer the liquid to bar soap. It makes me feel squeaky clean. Good stuff.
FARCAM –
I’m in love w the citrus smell! My husband says nothing cleans his hands better than this. He works in a warehouse! Even though it’s a lil pricey it last a long time. I use it as a body and hand wash. Sometimes I use it on my counter tops and floors it smells delicious. Everyone loves it in my house!
Gigi –
I use this as a cleaner to clean my countertops, a little bit goes a long way. I put a teaspoon or 2 to a spray bottle and top it up with water. It’s great for cleaning stove tops as well.
Harry Provost –
I’ve been using Dr. Bronner’s liquid soap for years mainly to wash my hands. I keep the bottle on the toilet tank lid. The process is as follows. I take the bottle off the toilet and set it open on the edge of the sink. Then I turn on the water wetting my hands and drop five drops of Dr. Bronner’s in the hollow of one hand. Rubbing my flat hands together vigorously I create a thick, white lather and proceed to do the complicated hand wash we do nowadays to avoid Covid19. Hands being thoroughly washed, I shut off the water, rinse and dry my hands, close and dry the bottle putting it back on the toilet tank lid, and dry the edge of the sink. This process leaves no bar soap type soapy residue on the sink. Clean hands, clean sink. dry bottle leaving no ring.
Talya –
I as these in foaming soap dispensers (mixed with water, mostly water). I even travel with it if I’m staying with people because it’s the only soap I’ve found that doesn’t cause problems for my extremely sensitive skin. I’ve had issues with psoriasis, eczema, and some floral or fragrance allergies, and regular soap I can only get away with for about a day or 2 (if I’m not allergic to it) without a bad skin reaction. I also use this for washing dishes, using it the same way with a foaming soap dispenser at the kitchen sink.
syncword –
All of Dr. Bronner’s soaps have a marvelous scent. This is no exception, just like fresh citrus.
Mark –
I use castile soap for my homemade shampoo. The scent is very refreshing. This order came with one of the caps broken and leaking a little, not enough to return. Don’t know whose fault this was. Usually Amazon delivers things in very good shape.
Leanna Larson –
Great product, I wish the scent was just a little bit stronger.
Mohabee Serrano –
Bronner’s Cirus Orange Scent Castile Soap! Works well for me, mostly as dish soap (diluted), laundry soap (full strength), and hand soap (diluted).
Katehoven –
I use this soap as hand soap, it leaves my hands feeling very clean. I’ve had several visitors tell me how much they like my soap and ask where to get it.
Billy E Somers –
Dr Bronner’s is great. We have hard water and I get plenty of suds. I use it at the house and when I go backpacking. Body, hair, dishes, clothes and even in a sauna for the smell.
Not necessary –
Are used it for a lot of different things. Like I said I love the smell, and the product

I was unsure how to use this as handsoap since it is so concentrated, but a friend who helped me clear out everything toxic in our home told me she used this for literally everything — face wash, hand soap, dishes, washing fruits and veggies, etc. All you do is cut it half and half with water, or you can do a highter ratio of soap if you want like 2/1 instead of 1/1. We have 5 kids and they waste soap a lot, so I prefer it being more diluted to go futher, and it is still strong enough to kill germs. Love having hand soap that doesn’t give me a headache from nasty frangrance and doesn’t have chemicals and isn’t “anti bacterial” in the bad way which actually causes more superbugs to live longer in your home.
Susan Webster –
I love this soap and have used it many times and it has always been darker in color and very clear and the scent is more prevalent. I thought what I received was from an old batch or perhaps not good, but I read about cloudiness and it’s apparently from being cold and doesn’t affect it’s usefulness so maybe it was stored in a cold area. Obviously, I ran warm water on the container and it didn’t change anything. (It still works amazing on everything!)
Jason Markey –
Love buying this to make my own soap at home. I use about 1/3 of this in a foaming dispenser with essential oils and water and I have soap for months. Much cheaper than buying soap all of the time and saves me trips to the store. Not to mention toxin free!
Miki hues –
This is a great product it was recommended to me from people I know in it works wonders
I would definitely recommend this for family and friends
Organic body wash
Kelly Pulver –
I love Dr. Bronners products. I picked citrus scent because I wanted to try their creme rinse & lotion as well and didnt want to mix different scents. I ordered this soap, the creme rinse, and the orange-lavendar lotion. All scents mix well together and are not overpowering. As for the soap itself, I’m loving the texture of my hair and my dry skin has improved too. I love that it works on hair and body. I’ve also used it as laundry soap and my clothes were clean & soft. Only giving 4 stars because my Walmart just marked down single 32oz from $14 to $8.
carolyf –
This has replaced all of our bar soaps and other bodywash products! We like that it contains all natural ingredients and overall great value for your money. One bottle last a looong time!
Andrew Bodsford –
This is a 2 pack but I only received one. Left seller feedback but got no response.
Otherwise I love this soap.
Dawn C. –
Just what I was looking for, price point fair compared to local Health Food Store
Amazon Customer –
The citrus smell is very pleasant and it mixes well with water to make refills for empty foam soap bottles. I’ve tried Dr. Bronners other scents and they are all good but this is my favorite. Light, clean, and fresh fragrance, not at all overpowering. Very pleased and will continue to reorder when we run low.
woodsy owl –
I’ve used the peppermint Bronner’s for years. My daughter had this in her shower. Tried it. Smells great. Same great value. A little goes a long way. I bought the twin pack so I could put one in my travel van and one at home. I add it with water to the foaming soap dispensers. Great as a body wash too. C’est magnifique! Its biodegradable and the lemony fragrance is awesome. Bravo!
Gaurav Kalani –
Love the scent and it is a big value for money.
Will highly recommend it
Cassandra Bankson –
Well the bottle practically screams at you.
If you can get past the Bible verses, there are some fun and inspirational quotes in there, and the usage options really do go on forever.
I first started buying this to wash my vegetables without consuming large amounts of toxic paste, but I ended up taking it into the shower with me.
It’s a bit more alkaline than skin, pH around 7.5 to 8 but I found that it breaks down make up phenomenally. It really has done wonders for my acne prone skin, but that being said I have worked in skin care for the past 10 years and know what to do to my skin after I get out of the shower. If you use it alone, it definitely can create some dryness or irritation.
Some people use it as a shampoo. I’ve tried, but my hair didn’t love it. I have dry kinky curly hair naturally, so I need something a little bit more hydrating. Those who have extremely oily scalp’s may benefit from it, but I would say speak to a hairdresser or trichologist before adopting sketchy internet advice.
As mentioned in the paragraph above, I have extraordinarily sensitive skin, so if I use the wrong laundry detergent I will break out in a rash.
This one doesn’t give me a rash. It cleans my clothes all right. It doesn’t leave them feeling any superior softness, but it doesn’t leave them crunchy like baking soda? just use a little bit tho, because it foams up. You need only a fraction of what you would for a regular wash.
I haven’t tried washing one of my cats yet, but when one of them did get his tail in some engine grease, we were able to pin him down in the sink and this stuff did remove the black tar like globs without any harm. We just washed it out real good so that he didn’t lick or eat anything left over.
The only scent that I like, and the only one that seems to work for my skin is the Teatree and hemp. I found the citrus to be a bit more abrasive, and the lavender one is downright horrible. But then again I’m not a huge fan of lavender.
I’m the bitch who can spend $500 on some fancy serum at Sephora, so I never thought that I would end up washing my face/removing my make up with a large tub of Jesus soap, but you know what it works and it makes my skin happy.
I’d recommend you try it, and if it doesn’t work, it was like what, 8, or 16 bucks? Give it to your neighbor or use it to clean the floor. Better yet, give it to a homeless person on the side of the street who needs a nice smelling bath.
Overall, it does it all. You just have to monitor it like a child that can get a little overzealous sometimes.
Gardner –
This had a great fragrance and is excellent for the foam hand soap that I’m making with it.
Super Dave Osbourne –
Dr. Bronner is the soap I use and love. This citrus is the 2nd best smelling, the peppermint is the best for me and most refreshing. In all, I don’t use other soaps, this soap is the best of the body soaps I have found over a lifetime of either making soap, buying soap, or knowing more about soaps than I care to admit.
kaleigh crecelius –
I love Dr.Bronners products and I use them for all the reasons listed on the bottle. My primary use is as a body wash and in place of shaving cream. The lemon smells like lemon candy, but all of the scents are excellent. I will continue to be a repeat buyer.
MMr –
We’ve been using the Dr. Bronner’s bar soap for years. I like the lavender and my husband likes the almond. This is the first time we’ve purchased the liquid soap. We love it and will definitely be purchasing it again. We both like the citrus.
Que –
I use this every day in the shower, it’s a great product, cleans well and doesn’t leave any residue on my skin. Great product, great price. I suggest you also buy a pump for the soap, makes it so much easier to just pump it directly out of the bottle rather than trying to pour it on a washcloth.
Kindle Customer –
I just love Dr Bronners castle soap for my everyday cleaning. This citrus smells very good. I use it to make my own hand soap and I can always smell the citrus. I mix with other essential oils and it makes a wonderful hand soap. I use this for all my house cleaning. When I use it for my hardwood floors it leaves a little shine and when I buff dry the floors they look really good. Very happy with this product and I appreciate being able to have it delivered right to my front door.
Lois Yvette Fowler –
Great soap the entire family uses it. All sixteen of us! Grandma, kids and grandkids
David W. Blankenship –
Great smell and very concentrated. Have been using Dr. Bonners soap for 35 years. Best smell, Almond and Peppermint also.
Ashley –
Gentle and effective! Smells amazing!
Arthur –
Before using Dr. Bronners, I was using the cheap hand/body soap. After getting this, I can definitely say that Dr. Bronners soap is vastly superior, both in cost and quality. Since you can dilute the soap to your own preferences, (I personally like 1:3 or 1:5 soap to water) while still upholding the cleaning power, this soap really is good for stretching your money.
jeremym –
This cleans well, rinses off well (no slime!), and seems mild on the skin. And it smells nice! (but you don’t carry around a soap stink cloud with you, which is important to me.)
dianea –
There is nothing better than castle soap – love the citrus smell too!
Amazon Customer –
loved this! the citrus is the best scent but the lavender really works through your pores…wont stop buying these! ordered all scents!
Hakon –
Great soap, soft and smells good. I bought the foaming dispensers and they work great with this soap, allowing for less use per pump.
OB-GYN Nurse Manager –
I have been using this product for years. I like the fact that they now have small travel bottles.
Christopher Covert –
I used this at a family member’s home and had to order for my home. I use this as shampoo and body wash but according to the label it has so many uses.
Ken –
This is the same 32 oz bottle(s) that you buy in the store. The product is solid and, as the label says, you can use this soap for many applications. It mixes very well in those foaming soap pumps that are everywhere these days and a 20% soap-to-water solution goes a long way. You can make it stronger if you wish. I use it as a shampoo, body wash, mix it with sugar to exfoliate the hands and body in the dry winter months.
AmazonJunkie –
I am used to this having more of a citrus smell. It smells great but I had to add more citrus to it.
