I bought the Protein Crisp Bar (Vanilla) – honestly, I bought it because it sounded like an awesome treat. Protein bars are often chewy and to have one that is crispy? I thought that sounded great.
And it was! There’s very little fiber to these bars but I enjoy the low sugar and high protein. The taste is great too – it’s reminiscent of a rice krispy treat but with a little bit of vanilla taste to it. The more you chew it, the more you can get the flavor of protein power but let’s be honest, you’re eating a protein bar – it’s not going to be able to mask what it is forever.
I’m really happy with these, though. As a protein bar, they taste nice and the crunch is awesome.

I eat a lot of different protein bars and I have to say this is the best tasting one I have had in a while that is in the 200-250 calorie range with at least 20g of protein. I typically rotate from Quest, Cliff Builder, One, Premier Protein, and any other ones I stumble across. It honestly tasted like a Rice Krispies treat with some Reese’s peanut butter on it. I also liked that it was bigger than a lot of other similar bars. It is a crisp product so means it will be bigger due to air, but the larger size can make you think you are eating a bit more than you actually are.

This is my favorite brand of protein bars of all time! I’m slowly trying all of the flavors and will post a rating for each protein bar flavor I have tried below! I love this brand because it hardly tastes like a protein bar, it’s like a more dense rice crispy treat! Delicious!
#1. Chocolate Crunch. 10/10
This is my favorite flavor! Great rich creamy chocolate coating/drizzle. The crunch is slightly dry but if you have it with a glass of water or milk you’ll be set!
#2. Smores. 9/10
Pleasant cinnamon roll/graham cracker taste. Doesn’t taste like smores though! Same delicious crunch. Great if you like Cinnamon!
#3 Mocha Latte. 9/10
Pleasant coffee+creamer taste, not much chocolate flavor going on though! This bar is slightly less dry than the others which was a nice surprise! Same great crunchy texture!

Ok so first off I rarely ever leave a review on anything. The main reason is most things don’t actually impress me or disappoint me enough for me to leave one. However, this is different, very different. Now I have always been a fan of BSN products such as their syntha-6 edge, their endo rush, cellmass etc. Those products are ever so slightly better than anything else on the market that I have tried and trust me I have tried plenty. But recently I’ve been looking for a protein bar since my eating hasn’t been on point lately. First I tried the Chocolate Crunch, which wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t anything to write home about. It tasted about as good as the Gatorade chocolate protein bar. But today I got the GOD of all protein bars. The BSN peanut butter protein bar is something else. When I say it didn’t taste grainy, or chalky, or have an after taste I am not lying. It was also surprisingly light and didn’t make my stomach feel bloated after eating which is usually what most bars do to me. I don’t know what wizardry they pulled to make this the perfect protein bar, but for the remainder of my life and fitness journey, I will never try any other brand or flavor than this one. I wish I could say more but honestly don’t know how to put this into words.

so i’ve spent the last year preparing for my wedding which means diet/exercise mode on! the journey has been great (remember discipline and consistency #1). These BSN bars have been a godsend. I’ve seriously tried so many (quest, zoneperfect, clif bulilders, think, one, etc), but BSN are hands down my favorite. Def comparable to a rice krispy treat but with the protein i need! (i go for 1 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight daily). I’ve eaten one everyday with coffee for breakfast and i havent gotten tired of them at all. ive tried all the flavors and my favorites are mint, smores, and vanilla. 2nd tier cookies and cream and chocolate. the other flavors arent bad, but i don’t savor them quite as much as tier 1 or 2. anyway, totally worth a shot! if you can get them closer to $1-1.50 each, its a great deal, so i try to load up at that price point. keep up you hard work dieting/exercising and enjoy these bars!

I love these protein bars. I got a subscription order set up so I get a box every 2 weeks. Allows me to eat one per day and I keep them in my office at work. Helps me get in a few extra calories and some extra protein that I wouldn’t otherwise get.
Flavor – Incredible. May be a little dry for some people but I think the taste is awesome.
Size – They are good size and volume so they do fill you up a little bit especially if you’re just hungry for a snack.
Ingredients – I’m not a nutritionist but I like that there are some carbs in it along with a good amount if protein.

Usually protein bars are chalky and a reluctant necessity to hit macros . I’ve honestly never tasted something better. There’s a good amount protein in it but not a crazy amount of calories. It almost reminds me of the honeynut cereal bars I’d have as a kid. They’re delicious with the perfect balance of sweet, nutty, and a little bit salty. I find myself having one these to fuel a morning workout, snag for a lunch replacement during the day, or to help me reach my calorie or macro goals for the day. Once having one my appetite and urges are satiated and I simply find myself content, a good level of full, and not craving snacks (either salty or sweet). I got the salted toffee pretzel and I just bought a second box because they have become a part of my daily routine. Can’t sing enough praise for these bars. I wish they were a little less carbs and more protein, but for the flavor, texture, overall deliciousness factor, I’m willing to compromise on that. If your debating just buy them! You won’t regret it.

The main reason why I like these bars is that they do not sit like a brick in my stomach. I have tried multiple protein bars and have now settled on these as they are incredibly light (not dense), surprisingly tasty, and easy to digest. Honestly, I am surprised how much protein these pack compared to other bars based on the positives listed above. All in all they are bit expensive, but not feeling like blowing chunks after every serving is well worth the added cost.

I’ve been substituting protein bars for a “traditional” breakfast or lunch for many years. They really help control my weight while enjoying a candy bar-like treat. I don’t kid myself about some of the less-than-ideal ingredients that help produce the wonderful flavors and consistency I crave, but everything in life is a trade-off, and these are better than a bowl of any kind of cereal if one is concerned about weight gain. Heck, I’m 81 years old and no longer worried about artificial sweeteners. If you’re a die-hard “health food nut,” you won’t be happy when you read he ingredients of most of these protein bars.

After seeing a fitness professional promoting BSN bars on Facebook, I decided to give these a try. I have been consuming protein and nutrition bars for a very long time. The BSN Salted Toffee Pretzel Protein Crisp is one of the best-tasting in recent memory. Most importantly, the softer texture means that it is actually palatable and isn’t like chewing a piece of shoe leather, like some other protein bars.
Overall, the product summary is 20g protein, 24g carbohydrates, 240 calories. The label of ingredients can be viewed on Amazon on the product page. At $1.67 a bar, they’re more expensive than ZonePerfect bars, which can be had on Amazon for less than $1.00 a bar (depending on flavor). However, these have a higher protein content per bar, and a slightly better texture. It’s always good to try something new and I plan to buy these again in the future.

These are probably my favorite protein bars. I have always hated the quest bar texture, and these and honestly like a rice crispy. My flavor ratings are below.
Mint chocolate chip 10/10
Peanut butter crunch 10/10
Vanilla marshmallow 10/10
Salted toffee pretzel 9/10
Strawberry crunch 8/10
Chocolate caramel crunch 8/10
Mocha 6/10
I have to make note that the mocha has pieces of roasted coffee beans in it that I found very annoying.

I might be a bit of a snob when it comes to protein bars or health food in general. That said, I felt like these had a good taste but were VERY dry. I had to drink water after what felt like every bite in order to avoid the dry-mouth feeling.
The are of a good size and so are more filling than some other bars out there, just be sure to have water on hand.
Would buy again (with a case of water)

I love the salted toffee BSN protein bars. I’ve tried three different kinds, and I’m a fan of their products. Salted toffee is my favorite. I keep these in my bag, at my office, and will often grab them when heading out – I’ve brought two if I’m meeting someone, so we’ll both have a decent snack option if missing a meal. Great taste and 20mg of protein and low sugar. Only thing I don’t love about them is there’s artificial sweetner, but they legit taste like a candy bar and I’m sure that’s how they make it possible.

All these glowing reviews led me to buy a whole box of these. Take it from me, if you buy a whole box you may not eat them all for a very long time. After I had one, I wasn’t looking forward to another one any time soon. They are certainly not what I would call delicious… and they WILL give you gas. Yup. So, there’s THAT.

I usually spend a lot of time reading the ingredients and nutrition information. The product must be Gluten Free, low fat and low sugar. The gluten and sugar information was readily available on the top or side of the box. After reading a few reviews, I ordered my first box of vanilla marshmallow. I have to eat early in the morning and these are great with a cup of coffee. I plan to order two of the other flavors today.

I eat a protein bar every day. It’s an easy breakfast, and it does a better job than most breakfast foods carrying me through to lunch. I’ve tried many different brands, and I have to say that these are by FAR my favorite. A lot of protein bars are super-heavy and sit in your gut like a lump, or they’re sort of a gooey/slimy mess. I’ve even had some that somehow managed to taste like dust. These are light, crunchy, and taste genuinely good. Can’t recommend them enough.
