This product is rich in nutrients and protein, but you already know that. What I don’t like:
1) Very small amount of powder in the container.1 serving is 1 scoop or 31g, 20g of which is protein. Total of 11 servings per container.I lift weights (heavy, 4X / week + cardio), so I need more than that. Long story short, this thing lasted me 3 days. Not exactly bang for your buck.
2) Doesn’t fully mix in the recommended amount of water. Had to add more water to get rid of all the chunks.
3) Not sure if this is a good or bad, but for some reason, every time I drank this, within 2-3 hours I took the biggest most foul smelling doodoo in the world. Even if I had already had a bowel movement in the morning, I take a serving of this in the evening and Boom! How much of these nutrients is my body really absorbing and how much am I passing out? Well, good thing it only lasted me 3 days, which were the only days I had this problem (or blessing? idk..)

I was REALLY hesitant at first, but ended up loving this on the first drink! I needed something without whey, no sugar, and protein. I love to mix 1/2 to 1 scoop of this (vanilla), with 3 tbsp of peanut butter powder, vanilla almond milk, and a bit of water. Oh my goodness!!! So tasty!! This product doesn’t have that weird chalky taste that other protein powders have left me with – which discourages me from drinking them again. It’s very good! I’m going to try baking a few breakfast items (the “running late” breakfast, if you will) with this powder.

I have been using this protein powder a couple of years now and I’ve been fairly pleased with it because atleast it doesn’t make my stomach hurt like some of the other ones (Garden of Life). However I do find it to be a bit chalky and I put a drop of peppermint essential oil in it to improve the taste a tiny bit. Butttt I recently discovered the Sunwarrior brand and I tried their berry flavor and it is leaps and bounds better than this one in flavor and texture (and cheaper per serving) so I won’t be purchasing this one again. I would still recommend it as a good one to try.

I have been ant based for almost 2 yrs now and this protein shake meets all my needs AND IS PLANT BASED.. So no animal products means no cholesterol issues. I mix it with plain water and or Natures Own Unsweetened Almond milk. I first found it at a health food store, then found Amazon sold it for much cheaper. 1 can lasts about 2 weeks. I LOVE IT AS PART OF MY MORNING ROUTINE ?

I usually buy the this line of protein powder but the flavor-less vegan one that comes in a green container. The favor-less one tastes but because I usually drink it with just water (not in a fruit smoothie or anything). So I decided to try out the vanilla one and boy, this taste AWFUL. Like unbearable awful. The taste of the flavorless one is not as bad by comparison. I also loathe that “fake sugar” taste which can be tasted and smelt in the vanilla one. I love this company though and will probably stick with the flavorless one

After having consumed this with a little bit of almond milk and water, or some yogurt and water( to cut the sweetness of the flavored yogurt), I can tell I’ve had a great deal of nutrition packed into one glass. It thicken up well and is very satisfying. I don’t even add fruit or Kale or spinach to it cuz I don’t like to take the time. I get all the greens I need just from this one formulation.

Three stars just because of the flavor … not sure where they get the so-called natural vanilla flavor because it does not taste natural it tastes artificial. Everything else about the shake is awesome love the ingredients, love how it blends but please fix the vanilla flavor.
I usually mix this with Ripple pea milk which has an additional 8 grams of protein, half a banana and some frozen fruits usually strawberry pineapple and peaches along with some strawberry flavored kefir for added probiotics.

This is the best protein powder mix – I’ve tried so many for my diet (avoiding meat protein, sugar, wheat, and eggs). The sweetener is stevia (which I hate) and happily, I can’t taste it in this one. I’ve been using as a meal replacement mixing with cashew milk and blueberries in the mornings and I’ve lost over 10 lbs since the end of February! I just wish I could get a larger size!

The good, when mixed with fresh or frozen fruit the taste is fine, it blends well, (I put it in a Vitamix blender).
The bad, you know its there, it has a texture / flavor that you notice, not disgusting or anything like that, but you know its in the smoothie. IMO, I don’t think I would attempt this mixed with nothing but milk or water.
The ugly, it looks disgusting, but only in the container…. 8^)

I like this protein powder because of its ingredient list. I can identify every single thing listed, which makes me feel better about what I’m ingesting, and there’s a good dose of fruits and veggies along with a lot of plant based protein. I got the vanilla flavor, and my only drawback with this product is the taste. It’s ok, but really doesn’t taste like vanilla, and isn’t really sweet at all. It’s like drinking an herby, sugarless matcha (and almost has a chai element to it). The aftertaste is just a tinge bitter, but nothing horrible— I think this is due to the stevia.
While I wish it tasted better on its own, I think the nutrition elements of this protein powder are worth a slightly unusual taste. It was very smooth when mixed with a blender bottle, and almost foamy and rich when blended with just water. No chalky aftertaste either!
