Great product for kids.
One drawback is that it is very very sweet.
It has a strong artificial taste and aftertaste that lingers
We are going to try using an unsweetened juice to blend with It to see that will help.

I bought this because my friend made a post regarding this product and how her child loves it. Tastes like chocolate milk she said. I’m completely down to help get my child any additional nutrients. Wow, I was fooled. That was my reminder to follow my gut because I know my child best. She hates it. I mixed it with chocolate almond milk, fail. Added it to her favorite smoothie, fail. Tried to mask it with peanut butter, fail. It is gritty and does not taste like chocolate milk. It reminds me of those fiber powders you mix with water. For my taste buds, I can drink it even if the consistency is not pleasing but my two year old would rather eat a bug.

My toddler won’t eat any veggies at all! She was also having trouble going to the bathroom. She’s been on this product for 3 days now and I can say proudly things are moving well ? one scoop is too strong for her . So I blend half a scoop twice a day in her chocolate milk. Hopefully we can build it up to a full scoop at once eventually. I recommend mixing the scoop in an oz of warm water first then blending it in your beverage. It mixes very well that way . Sometimes if she doesn’t drink it all right away I have to shake her cup a few times . Doesn’t seem to bother her at all. I definitely recommend this product!

My kids are picky eaters when it comes to eating healthier foods so figured I’d give this a try. For me, the taste was fine. My son “liked” it. I don’t think he really does but he does know that it’s easier to drink one drink then eat a lot of veggies throughout the day.. My daughter not so much. I added a little bit more cocoa to it as the greens taste does come through.
The container was half full.. Looks like they use the same size container for all of their flavors. So with the other ones being fuller and this not full, keep in mind that this is 6.35 oz and the other flavors (not specifically for kids) is 8.5 oz. Just pay attention to how much your getting. Maybe one day they’ll use smaller containers for this or just make it 8.5 oz. 🙂

really skeptical at first glance when looking at the ingredients with sugar (cane sugar is still sugar) being the #1 ingredient. & the nutrition label doesn’t have nutritional value other than vitamin A & K – which are actually pretty much only found in vegetables so that is a good thing to supplement my toddler diet who doesn’t like veggies much. The container was half full so packaging could have been smaller (gives impression there would be more).
But! my boy loves this chocolate super greens mixed in with his milk!! He loved chocolate milk more than regular milk so now I can just mix these chocolate flavored veggies in with his milk and he won’t even know any different! Even though there is more sugar than I like I will gladly trade for the veggie A&K vitamins and health & happiness of my son 🙂

When I first got it for my 6 year old son who doesn’t eat normal food and he eats only once a day (of course it made me unhappy so I decided to get this particular superfood for him and also he drinks organic protein shakes for kids), he didn’t like it, he couldn’t drink it without crying until I started adding a bit of cocoa powder and less that a teaspoon of coconut sugar. Long story short today I decided to try it myself and let me tell you, those kids are liars if they tell you it’s disgusting or not sweet enough. This chocolate superfood is delicious, sweet and chocolaty, I absolutely love it. So kids please stop lying and make faces while drinking it. Also my son goes to bathroom every day now like he is supposed to, before we had problems with that. Highly recommend this product.

Yes, the bottle is “half empty,” but you do get at least 30 servings as advertised. It’s really a packaging issue…the amount you get could literally fit in a quart ziplock bag and not fill it up.
My 2.5 year old who’s an ultra picky eater loves this a lot and it finally gives me a piece of mind about my child’s health. After one day of using, my picky eater is willing to try and eat new kinds of foods, which was not so before.
I mixed the powder in a fruit smoothie or in coconut yogurt and serve it. My children loves it.
So to me, in this particular situation it’s worth the money. Now my kid is willingly eating even more healthier foods.
It tastes good to me. We have berry and strawberry flavors but only have used the berry kind.
I recommend this but I do intend to try another brand that offers more and see if it works too.

This was my first time buying this product on Amazon. I usually buy it directly from the AmazingGrass website. However, I saw that it was cheaper on here so that’s why I ordered it. Yes, the container comes half empty but that’s also how it comes when you order it directly through the AmazingGrass website. I am giving it 4 stars just because the AmazingGrass company should really consider filling the container a little more with the product. I use this powder in my son’s morning smoothie which includes: milk, banana, peanut butter and this. I blend it using nutribullet. Blends well.

This is a great product and I was super excited to use it on my son (who is a picky eater). I simply mixed it with milk and added a touch of organic chocolate syrup to cover any awkward veggie tastes. My son liked it. However, a few days later he began to rash out. He’s allergic to cashews and there’s mango in this product (mango and cashews carry the same protein). I’m not sure if that was a factor in his breakouts but the Oat Fiber; that is in the product, was defiantly a factor I believe (because he’s also allergic to oats). It’s a GREAT product, my best friend who is a Doctor and worked at a holistic food store all through med school highly recommended it too. Just be careful if your little one has allergies and make sure you CAREFULLY read the ingredients.

I started adding this to the kids smoothies made with almond milk, frozen strawberries banana and peanut butter. To my delight, they like it very much but when I looked on the nutritional information I was shocked to see very little in terms of nutritional value. I purchased this as a way to add a variety of fruit and vegetables to their diet but while this is made from countless fruits and veggies, it has little to no daily vitamin value. The add claims “Helps kids achieve their daily recommended fruits and veggies” but look at the label, it has little nutritional value and the first ingredient is sugar. I was fooled by the great packaging and fancy marketing. We will finish this product but I will look for a healthier option in the future.

This only got three stars from me because it’s so gritty my kid wouldn’t drink it. I haven’t ever given her a child’s protein powder but I give her some of my Powder sometimes. She easily drinks my protein powder when I give it to her. She would t drink this at all. She liked the flavor and I did too. We got the berry blast flavor and mixed it with vanilla almond milk. It tastes just like strawberry milk. Unfortunately my five year old hates grit it. I don’t think a kids protein shake should be this gritty when adults protein shakes usually aren’t. Kids are usually very picky so I took two stars off because how many kids would actually drink all the grit the cup was left with. My daughter drinks premade shakes with ease because they aren’t gritty. Maybe in a blender bottle it would be better, but what kid uses a blender bottle. I’ll update my review if the blender bottle makes a difference but I doubt it. I’m going to mix it with banana and yogurt or almond milk, and then make popsicles. Hopefully the popsicles turn out well and give me a reason to use the powder. I was honestly kind of sad and disappointed because I love this brands other products.

I keep buying this, only because it’s the only option I’ve found for my son who barely eats. It tastes like grass clippings. I use about 1/4th of the little serving cup that it comes with, and blend it into chocolate pediasure to get him to eat it. If you try with orange juice or a thinner drink, forget it, all you taste is grass. It’s also obnoxious that the tub is about twice the size of the product you get, it’s half full upon opening it for the first time. I haven’t found anything else to get my four year old to eat his fruits and veggies, so I’m going to keep buying it but… it’s not my favorite thing.

Okay so I love the ingredients in this and I like the probiotic aspect of it as well. Unfortunately, the taste is just not the greatest. As a chocolate milk, it’s not good. My daughter is picky but even I treated it and thought it wasn’t very good. I could definitely do this in a smoothie though. I blended it up with some almond milk and a banana and it was great.

We love this so much she took it with her almond milk and you can just mix it right in and the flavor was great for her and we knew she was going to get some extra veggie servings during hard day is great especially if you’re on my throne and worried about having a bunch of balanced meals. We did take about you know a few weeks or so to finish this one container and so don’t feel as if you’re going to like run out of the stuff within a week we’re using it more like milk in between meals it didn’t like substitute out any meals it was just more like something she could drink along with eating like cereal or applesauce or oatmeal

Amazing! My 23 month old refuses to sit and eat breakfast. We’ve struggled so much these past 6 months. We add 7 or 8 oz of Ripple in the shaker (with the shaker ball) and eventually moved up to a full scoop of powder over the past 2 weeks. He’s totally content from when he wakes (7:30/8am) until his early lunch/brunch at 10:30. We offer water and healthy snacks if he needs it until his 10:30/brunch time. This has helped so much. Especially the days we need to be out of the house to get to the sitters in the morning. I’m going to buy this for his snack or mild meal replacement as long as he continues to enjoy it. I get people are concerned its not filled to the top of the container but I’ve weighed the amount given and divided by the serving/scoop size and it all adds up. I think the container is just a litter bigger making it look half full.

I keep reading and rereading the ingredient list on this product… I still can’t believe that I am sneaking all of this goodness into my 5 year old!! My son has always been a milk kid in a family of happy foodies. He would rather drink than eat food due to some textural/sensory issues. He is also SO picky!! Getting him to eat properly has been the biggest challenge of my life. I finally decided to try the best rated chocolate greens powder to add to his milk. I am able to successfully disguise a half scoop, twice a day, of this powder in a glass of regular chocolate milk. My son loves it!! I am absolutely thrilled. He has no idea that his chocolate milk is now WAY better for him.
This powder tastes very mildly like greens, has a rich cocoa flavor and is totally delicious. I don’t have to pre dissolve it in water as some others do, I think it mixes just fine with milk.
Perfect product!! Zero complaints.

I bought for my 3 year old who is the pickiest eater and is always sick. The only fruits and veggies he eats are apples and beets.. he literally only eats grilled cheese and home made nuggets. Sometimes bagels with cream cheese.. pizza.. and noodles with butter. That’s it hes the worst eater ever! Anyway I bought this to mix in with his morning chocolate milk.. I do almost a full scoop with 8oz almond milk and a squirt of chocolate syrup. He doesnt even know it’s there! I’ll probably order this until he starts eating better. We may try the berry one. I’ve tasted it myself and it’s not gritty at all. I thought it would take like the amazing grass chocolate superfood for adults but it’s not as potent so sometimes I throw it in my smoothies too!
Great product!

Slip this in with apple juice/ water and your kid wont know the difference. At least we believe that to be the case. It is berry sweet and tastes great. Tons of pro’s about this product. Wheatgrass, Probiotics, Vegetables, Apple Pectin and so much more I’m forgetting. Only suggestion….place it in a hidden dark sippy cup. The green tinge can turn a few kids heads away but the taste surprises. During Halloween we give it a funny name like “Witchs Brew” but we still disguise it in the sippy cup for full completion.
