I’ve tried many different protein shakes; most have lots of fillers that I wouldn’t put inside my body. The Biochem protein has become my favorite. The ingredients are clean and the taste is spot on.
Well done Biochem.

This mixes into liquids well and tastes great. Very clean tasting, a high quality protein powder.

I’ve tried dozens of protein powders over the years, and while some have been tolerable none really work well. I can’t have soy due to hormonal issues, have trouble digesting pea protein and the like, even a small amount of stevia or another sugar substitute tastes absolutely horrible to me, and hauling out a blender and finding a plug in the tiny counter space in my apartment kitchen is way too much trouble.
So I was pleased to find this shake. Biochem’s whey is easy on my stomach, the mix leaves no aftertaste, and 6 grams of cane sugar is fine for me when ‘buffered’ by 15 grams of protein. It dissolves easily when shaken up in a 16 ounce jar and tastes fine mixed with water, but I find it dissolves more easily and is more filling mixed with whole milk and even faster with some cream thrown in, which is perfect for the relatively high fat , high protein, low carb diet that helped me lose 40 pounds (a lot of weight for a 5’3″ girl) and keeps it off with little effort.
I sometimes use this as an effortless breakfast substitute or at bedtime when I realize I haven’t eaten enough to keep me from getting ravenous in the middle of the night, but most often it fills the nutrient gap at dinner, generally accompanied by a vegetable-based soup (I’m on a ginger/butternut squash kick right now), bagged chopped salad, the occasional complex carb, and a pile of the organic blueberries I’ve become addicted to and are usually on sale at Whole Foods, when I’m too lazy to prepare something proteinaceous that requires actual effort
In short, I recommend the Biochem protein shake, whether as a supplement to a regular diet or a meal replacement if straight protein is what floats your boat. I wish it were cheaper, but it’s worth a little more money to have something on the shelf that I’ll actually use instead of the usual unappealing products.

Great tasting chocolate flavor, 20g protein AND rated #2 On the clean label project. What else could you ask for? Obviously low in calories as this isn’t a weight gainer, but I didn’t want a powder with loads of cholesterol and sodium. Works well to supplement my workouts with extra protein. Doesn’t clump and mixes cleanly with a very small amount of liquid.

I live on Protein shakes, often 2 meals a day. I love the chocolate. This is the first time trying this brand and it has my vote. It is filling, has very few calories, and amazing made in the bender with a little almond milk, ice, and expresso powder. When adding fruit I go for the vanilla. Great price. I pay the same for a small can when I looked for it at the Health stores.. Making another purchase today. And having the Whey option is great, especially for those who have to be mindful of non-whey mixes due to interactions with estrogen.

I have IBS and this was recommended. So far I really like it. A good amount of protein and it mixes very well. Though I do wish the flavor was a little stronger. I do wish Biochem made a mass gainer version like this.

Blends more smoothly than most other protein powders I’ve tried. Also tastes much better. I’ll be sticking with this brand unless they change their formula in the future in order to make a few more cents per batch, which I’ve had happen with other powders in the past. One of the things I like the most is that the measuring cup is accurate. Instead of saying two heaping scoops, they just say two scoops. I know it’s petty, but the heaping scoop thing always bothered me with other powders. Like, how heaping? I mean, this stuff is expensive. I need more accurate measurements so I know I’m getting the most out of my protein. Anyway, great product. Worth your money.

Best tasting and easiest to mix. If you need it to be a bit more creamy, you can add a splash of milk, otherwise room temperature water mixes this the best. I’ve been using this for years and it has for me produced less gas and bloating than other supplements. I’ve tried the vegan and berries but this seems to be the best flavor. If you get tired of the choco flavor, go for the vanilla one to change it up, albeit, it’s a bit sweeter tasting.
