I bought this after reading a news article ranking powders based on the amount of lead content and other bad ingredients. This was the winner, and best for you powder. I didn’t have much hope for the taste or texture, but I am pleasantly surprised.
My morning shake consists of a scoop of this, soy milk, coffee, peanut butter, dates, a banana, and ice, blended into a milkshake. It’s insanely good and decadent.

Switched over to this from Shakeology. This was tested by the Clean Label Project to be one of the cleanest protein shakes on the market.
Pros: it’s cheaper. It doesn’t contain lead which many other shakes have. It takes good.
Cons: It gets super frothy when you mix it in the blender. I add mine at the end so this doesn’t happen. It also doesn’t have a strong chocolate flavor so I add coco (10 calories a tablespoon).
It’s definitely worth it if you’re looking for a healthy alternative that doesn’t have fillers

Healthier version of a protein powder. Not as much crap in it as others. Tastes good!

This is the best tasting chocolate protein I’ve ever had, and I’ve been consuming protein shakes post workout for the last 6+ years. The powder dissolves quickly, and is just so smooth tasting.

Alright so I hardly write reviews that already says a lot. I just received this today and wanted to try it out after my workout. I need to add in, prior to purchasing I did my research and read countless reviews. If you are a mother and are NURSING/BREASTFEEDING you understand the need to find only the best for you and your baby. After tasting this, I highly recommend this product as it was one of the top 5 that were tested without to have traces of heavy metals from a third party AKA the clean label project and consumer reports. Please also consult with your doctor first before consuming as I did with mine. My OBGYN had advised me that it was safe. Yes, I did consider the the proteins that are specifically made for breastfeeding mothers that are advertised as ‘organic’ and ‘plant based’ as well as ones from bodybuilding.com with extensive reviews. However, since Biochem was one of the top 5 for cleanest proteins that made my ultimate decision as all proteins are not certified with the FDA and from countless articles I had read concluded that most organic plant based proteins had correlation to containing higher heavy metals. Biochem, to me overall was exactly what I needed for a nursing mother, Clean protein without all the unnecessary stuff.
Does not contain: heavy metals, artificial colors, artificial flavors, artificial sweeteners, soy, RBGH/RBST, lactose free, and gluten free
Now onto the taste, I have tried many protein powders in the past and I was hesitant to purchasing this ONLY because of some of the reviews stating the taste was horrendous. As to my opinion, I’m honestly not sure what that is about? I purchased the CHOCOLATE flavor so i can only attest to this one. But the chocolate is DELICIOUS. I mixed mine with 8 oz of organic lactose free milk (I could never stand the taste of choco water) in a shaker bottle and I must say it blends pretty well there’s very minimal clumps of unblended protein like other brands I’ve tried and NO metallic taste or weird artificial after bite. It tastes smooth and natural almost like drinking chocolate milk or eating chocolate Haagen Dazs ice cream. I love it!
So, If you’re on edge and not sure just take my advice and BUY IT!! you’ll be happy you did 🙂

A delicious flavor, added to high quality protein, ease of digestion and convenience have made this a favorite clean protein we’ve enjoyed for years. I was thrilled to find it on Amazon, and quickly added it to my “Subscribe and Save” monthly deliveries, at a better price than I’ve found anywhere else. Would absolutely recommend.

Clean and Tasty protein that makes a great post workout shake. One or two scoops in a blender bottle with half water and half milk and its great. Sometimes I add cold coffee or some Hershey’s syrup to jazz it up.

I have been using this protein powder for a few months now and have no complaints. I have IBS and this was recommended. The list of ingredients is short and I know what they are which is a plus. The price is decent too. It taste good to me. It’s not amazing but I have yet to find a protein powder that fits my needs and is amazing.

This is the best protein powder on the market imo. I have trouble with other whey proteins upsetting my stomach or feeling nauseous afterwards but this one doesn’t have lactose. I’m able to do a post workout shake and still eat 30 min later without an upset stomach.

My husband and I are big label readers and this product is a good one. I love the chocolate. He loves the vanilla (which to me is too sweet in taste….however it does smell like cake batter and that’s yummy)!

I wanted a decent tasting high quality whey protein for post lifting workouts to build muscle strength. I use a vegan protein other times and previous to this. Did a bunch of reading and chose this one. I am almost done with this container and have noticed over the past couple months my strength has increased. I feel this protein powder has contributed because my food choices are inconsistent but using this protein has been very consistent. I’m about to order more!

I bought this mix for post workout. It dissolves and mixes well with the liquid I’ve used like coconut water. I have added fruit and other ingredients with it and it taste great alone or with the other stuff. It kept me full for a few hours after a hard workout. I was impressed. I am borderline diabetic and have hypothyroidism so I am very causious of what I eat. I was pleased with this product and it meet my needs for the morning supplement I was looking for.

My boyfriend is a former competitive bodybuilder who turned me onto this product. He is very picky about the ingredient list and it NOT having soy. I have used in smoothies and my iced coffees and it taste good. I have tried the Berrie, Vanilla and Chocolate and all are Winners. My 8-year-old daughter even likes….so kid approved. Just have to adjust how much if you giving to kids. She is in Gymnastics so getting protein in her can be a challenge..but in a berry smoothie she drinks it down. If you are looking for a good tasting protein powder look no more and try this one! You will not be disappointed.

I really like the taste of this product! Works great in my smoothies and I sure hope it is as healthy and “good for you” as they state. I feel burned on the Herbalife product that I had been purchasing for quite a few years after reading an article about possible heavy metals in 75% of the mosts popular brands, and not receiving any response to my subsequent email to that company.
